We have used Camp Bow Wow on several occasions. Our two dogs (Peaches and Lucy) do great here! The kennels are clean and April is always very accommodating and caring. I have been using the Frisco location of Bow-Wow Kennels since May 2016 and and my dog loves going. My dog is EXTREMELY social and has serious separation anxiety. When we drive up and she sees where we are she gets excited and is ready to jump out of the car before I finish parking. We have used this location eight times (don't judge - we have to travel) -The owner is a caring, conscientious and respectful individual and is quick to correct any adverse situation based on my experience. In my opinion, this is one of the most reasonably priced boarding places in the Metroplex that offers accommodations for dogs of all sizes safely. The boarding layout is ideal for any dog type and you are not 'nickeled and dimed' with extras which I love! If you have an escape artist this is the place for that dog. Each kennel is setup so the dogs can run from the outdoor part (covered and protected from the sun) to the indoor where they are protected at night.The current staff seems very humble and caring. My Lyla has been “vacationing” at Camp Bow Wow for a few years now. When we pull in the drive Lyla perks up and when greeted by April, the owner, she wags her tail and can’t wait for April to pet her. The kennel facilities offer more than adequate space for my large dog. The kennels are always clean and properly heated and cooled. On more than one occasion Lyla (chronic skin allergies) has required me to bring medication and/or a special food. On pick up it’s evident that these special requests have been honored, and Lyla has actually been taken care of. In the past I had an ever changing work travel schedule and have had personal travel delays. They have been more than accommodating to my travel schedule on many occasions. Prior to finding Camp Bow Wow, Lyla was a guest at 3 of the Pet “Resorts” in North/West Frisco. Sure those facilities appear like 4-Star hotels for pets, but they START at twice the price. That’s before the $1 Medication fee per day, $3. food fee (if I don’t bring my own), $10 “day care”fee, $15 “30 min of one on one attention” fee, and whatever else they can nickel and dime me for. At all three places my pup would seem stressed out or scared upon pick up. In summary, April and the staff at Camp Bow Wow provide a safe, healthy environment at an excellent value that my dog enjoys. It is comforting that she lives on site. I would highly recommend the Camp experience vs. the much higher priced Pet “Resorts” in the area. More...

I have a very large dog that I got from someone that didn't want her. She was boarded a lot. She had anxiety at one place and tried to dig her way out. She doesn't have that issue at Camp Bow Wow. My neighbor and her daughter take their dogs here and they recommended. This kennel works out great. The runs are big if you have a large dog or more than one. I love that it is family owned and operated. The owners are always on site. We have been taking her there for 3 years and counting! Thanks April! More...

I brought my dogs here for 3 years! I love this place. I have never had a bad experience. The dogs are always well cared for. The kennel floors are cleaned every day. There is no possible way for the dogs to escape. The have an indoor run with heating and cool along with an outdoor run. I would highly recommend this place. More...
