(Food recs below) There's few places to eat out in the southwestern part of Camano Island, but Cama Beach Cafe is a lovely breakfast or lunch option at a reasonable price for holiday goers. During a summer weekend, put your name on the list and stroll the trails in the upper part of the park while you wait. Don't wander down the hill yet, or you'll show up for your meal covered in sweat.REUBEN SANDWICH: Tasty! I'd suggest salad as a side. The fresh greens and acidic pickle help to balance the richness of the sandwich.BISCUITS AND GRAVY: So good, but it's very rich - I'd balance it with something light, or be prepared for a nap on the beach afterwards.LEMONADE: Definitely recommend it with extra ice on a sunny day! Very adorable cafe next to a trail to the beach. The Reuben is TO DIE FOR. I've never had such a delicately balanced Reuben. There's a great view of you get to eat on the balcony. We will definitely be coming back. Also looks like a great venue for a wedding! More...

What a fantastic place! The hostess was warm and welcoming even though we arrived twenty minutes before closing. She took the time to clean an outdoor table at our request, too. Our waitress Layna (probably spelling that wrong!) was friendly and attentive and seemed genuinely happy, even at the end of a busy shift. Without asking, they iterated and reiterated we were welcome to stay after closing, no rush. Like, six stars. Seven stars. Sixty seven stars!If they had served me dog food, I probably would still have been happy given how friendly everyone was. They didn't, though - they served me one of the best Reuben sandwiches this side of the Mississippi. My mom had a salad she loved. Excellent service and excellent food, with an amazing view. Got Saturday brunch here recently. The food was delicious and carefully, thoughtfully handmade with fresh ingredients. Everything - including eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, and thick cut bacon - was great. This use to be our #1 spot on the weekend for breakfast but now you CAN NOT order online!!! If you plan on going it's always an Hour or more wait and you can not call ahead for seating! Who ever the new Management is it's  going to loose locals for your business besides all that the food has lost it's appeal (just not great like it use to be.)! As we loose more and more restaurants here on the Island I wish you luck as Winter arrives.Yes will not be returning any time soon or ever! Such a SHAME! More...

Well, that was a nice surprise. On camano for a few days and ordered to go from the cafe. There were a few tables inside, spread out, with guests eating. I ordered the beet ruben and home fries. Totally delish. Now I want to come back and stay in the cute cabins! More...

Are you kidding me! This place was SO delicious. I thought I was popping in to grab a quick breakfast burrito before adventuring around camano island. I had zero clue it would be as tasty, I ended up getting a cookie as well. Everything was delicious!!! I ate at a bench down by the water. I was confused at first, I didn't realize this location was in the actual park. Such a good find! Definitely get breakfast here!
