Call Me Farms

There are people you come across in life and then there are people who actually have an impact on your life. Hands down Cynthia Humphrey and Call Me Farms has had a significant impact on our lives. Our story started about two and a half years ago when my girlfriend Linda adopted "Call Me Red Rifle Riley" aka Riley. She is from the Moby & Clara litter. Linda has only owned Heelers her entire life and her search for a dog led her to Call Me Farms. Riley has been a center point in our lives, going to work with us daily, sometimes my office, sometimes Linda’s office. Daily walks, swims, and most recently motorhome trips. She runs three to five miles with Linda in the morning and then plays ball with me at night while I enjoy a nice bourbon and cigar in our yard. She can go from extremely athletic to curled up next to you on a lounger without missing a beat. Not to brag, but she is smarter than most people we know and easily has over a hundred words in her vocabulary. We can tell her what toy to go get, even what color toy. Her Pink Football is her favorite. Simply a brilliant and athletic dog. The credit for this goes directly back to Call Me Farms. The quality of the dog surpassed all expectations the pedigree being beyond exceptional. With that, I have to say, I am not an expert on dogs. You start talking about AKC, registered litters, sires, damns, bloodlines and other things my eyes glaze over. But when we went looking for a second dog last week, I knew I didn’t have to be an expert, We simply need to call one. We were in Ocala on our motorhome and were going to be going past Call Me Farms.. It only took a phone call and we were set to visit Cynthia and her new litter of Blue Heelers. We walked to the pen and Cynthia pointed out the female…. As she licked my fingers (the dog that is), it was a done deal. That instant connection. I got that same feeling when her mother approached me and also licked my fingers. That instant acknowledgement that she knew her child would be taken care of for life. I know, it may sound odd to some, but that connection just happens. So… Now we have Riley and Trudie. In 48 hours since getting the new puppy, she’s almost completely potty trained, navigating out house and the steps down to the yard and has become Riley’s biggest fan. Where Riley goes, the little one follows. The cat had Riley trained, but she’s not so sure about the puppy yet.. Call Me Farms has again exceeded all of our expectation and provided a dog of exceptional quality. We would not hesitate to recommend Cynthia and Call Me Farms to anyone looking for a Heeler. You will not be disappointed. Our retirement plans include a farm and more dogs in the coming years… We already know who to call…. Call Me…. We brought home the most playful, fun, intelligent and beautiful Rat Terrier boy from Cynthia. He’s such a great family boy with our kids. Cynthia is always invested in his heath and growth and still helps us with any puppy questions we have. I would definitely recommend her as a breeder of quality pups. More...
