I've been training with Caleb for about two and a half years. He's helped me in my recovery process since my bone cancer surgery in my pelvis area. He's diligent in the way he approaches my workouts making sure the muscles around the surgical area get stronger every week along with my overall body strength. More...

I started training with Caleb 10 years ago when I moved to Los Angeles at age 51. After being an athlete in high school, I had back surgery at age 22 and was plagued with back issues through adulthood. I decided that I needed to focus on my health & fitness so that I would not be an infirm retiree. This was the best decision I could have made!

At our first meeting, after discussing my short term & long term goals, Caleb developed a training program designed to build back my strength. I wanted to be an athlete again. His knowledge about fitness, mobility, and strength training, along with the ability to build a plan specific to each client, defines Caleb as one of the best trainers in Los Angeles.

I continue to work with Caleb twice every week, continuing to build on the foundations of strength and mobility started in 2013 when we met. I am currently in better shape than I was at age 20! And, while my training sessions include strength, conditioning (rowing/running/biking) and mobility, the sessions also help to build the confidence in knowing that I will continue to be active through my 60s, 70s and beyond!

Caleb is absolutely your best choice for a personal trainer in Los Angeles.

I'm happy to share my experience with Caleb for personal training. We began working together 5 years ago. He really makes an effort to tailor our work outs based on my fitness goals as well as taking into account some mobility issues I've experienced. He's always on time; our work outs vary each week. I've noticed a big boost in my overall fitness...endurance, strength and flexibility have all improved. I have worked out with a variety of trainers over the years. Caleb is easily the best of the best. If you decide to work with Caleb, you'll be very glad you did! More...

I first started training with Caleb in April of 2018 and have consistently trained with him three days a week ever since. Caleb is very professional, is always on time to our 6:00am sessions, and is very prepared with a good plan for our workouts to help me achieve my goals . He is knowledgeable about mobility and very good at working around any nagging injuries that crop up. I'm 60 years old, approaching the last few years of my life, so I do have some aches and pains to work around. Caleb's great programming has helped me get stronger even while he is sensitive about my mobility challenges. He is one of the best personal trainers I have worked with over the past 40+ years. Caleb is an extremely knowledgeable and gifted trainer. I came to him 3 years ago, with back problems. Now, at 52, I’m stronger and healthier. My back hasn’t “gone out” since. It’s amazing how the improvements just keep coming. More...

I've been active my entire life, from being a professional dancer and now a Master Athlete (62 years young) who does CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting.

Training with Caleb for the last 2 years has improved my strength, conditioning, and overall fitness. He puts so much thought into my workouts. I feel seen and taken care of.

Caleb programs my workouts with such intention and safely pushes me to improve. His feedback is always spot-on, and I feel like he truly cares about my health and athleticism. I'm always so excited to get to the gym and see him; I've never looked or felt better!

I highly recommend Caleb. You will not be disappointed!

I am an actress & model so my body has a lot of requirments for my work. Caleb took this very seriously and made my workouts revolve around keeping my work in mind while also making me stronger than I have ever been.

While I know the word "tone" is a fitness buzzword that should really be outlawed, my body has indeed never looked more "toned" and I am able to eat better, sleep better, and also trust my choices in between my workouts with Caleb (like the home workouts I do as well).

I didn't realize how important strength and conditioning was to my other movements, like running races or yoga which I also love.

I feel like for the first time I have longevity in my fitness. It is the best investment I have made for myself.

Q&As

The most important thing is having a specific goal. With that, an efficient and effective strategy can be developed. Communication is extremely important, not just how to do a certain exercise, but why we're doing it and how it's going to benefit the client. There's no one-size-fits-all to training and achieving goals. Everyone is different and they respond to different stimuli or training protocols.

Consistency, small daily habits, and a long-term approach. A quick fix, like a fad diet or zero-to-sixty approach, is usually not the recipe for building a lifelong foundation. Training for something specific (ie: wedding, photoshoot, film, etc) with a deadline can give a strong motivation and create the required discipline, it's usually followed by burnout and regression. I've found with clients that making small daily changes to movement and nutrition followed by specifically targeted training creates a lasting fitness routine.

I most love creating personal relationships with my clients and helping them to achieve their goals. There's something really special watching someone whose goals you care about do things they never thought were possible, like a first pull-up, a personal record on a lift, or their fastest mile.

I begin weightlifting in high school for sports and followed that into CrossFit in 2010. In 2012 I began coaching CrossFit and HIIT classes at Brick CrossFit in West Hollywood. I began personal training soon after and have done both since.

I have over a decade of training experience with clients of all ages and all body types. I've trained clients coming off of major surgeries, advanced athletes, actors, and beginners who'd never been in a gym before. I believe in adapting training to the client based on their needs, rather than pigeonholing clients into a rigid training program.

Yes, I do remote programming of either 3 or 5 days of training per week based on the equipment and space of the client.

I am fully vaccinated and have had two booster shots, including my last one in September 2022
