I can’t praise Cakes by Ron enough.
I’ve told all my friends and family that their cakes and cupcakes are the BEST in town.
But they showed their true colors last week.
I ordered a special surprise birthday cake for my wife. She has a gluten allergy and they were able to oblige, creating a delicious beautiful cake.
However when I brought it home, I stored it incorrectly in my car and the top tier slid off!
I panicked and knew it was my fault. The cake was RUINED!
I sheepishly came back to the store and asked if anything could be done.
Without complaining, Ron stopped what he was doing and completely remade the cake. He didn’t even ask for a fee.
It was even better than before! And my wife absolutely loved it.
Ron saved the birthday party, and they have a lifelong customer in me. More...

Literally have been wanting to try these cupcakes for a few years now, but the location was just far enough out of the way we never had the opportunity. ..but they were definitely worth the wait! Cakes by Ron is AMAZING! Their cupcakes are spectacular and their cakes are even better. They’re everything you could want in a cake shop. Their prices are reasonable and the outcome is better than your wildest dreams could imagine. Just take a step into their cake shop and you’ll see immediately what I mean.

I worked with Ron this past weekend for a wedding and I was called a bit before the cake and cupcakes were to arrive and was told their driver was rear ended. It ended up ruining the cake. They called to let me know they were remaking the cake and would arrive in about an hour - in Friday rush hour from Sarasota to Tampa.

Boy, did they deliver! Their driver showed up at the perfect time, right during cocktail hour so neither my couple nor their guests were the wiser! Their driver immediately got to work laying out the cupcakes and decorating the cake with the flowers we had set aside - so beautiful!! The seamless delivery was spot on. They can always be counted on to make any event perfect!

Ron, thank you to you and your team for an amazing wedding on Friday! I can’t wait to work with you all again!! And please open a spot in Tampa so I don’t have to drive an hour+ for cupcakes!!! Those salted caramels are the bomb! More...

Literally the most delicious cake! Best cakes around, hands down. I've tasted various competitors in Sarasota in preparation for my wedding, and Cakes by Ron was the absolute best. I had such a good experience working with Ron to design my cake. He was patient and friendly when listening to my vision for the wedding cake, and incredibly creative and talented when sketching out ideas to bring my vision to life. He's truly an artist. Cakes by Ron is AMAZING! I had tried their cupcakes at a bridal show and knew they were a company I HAD to partner with. I was so proud to take my bride and groom (I'm a wedding planner) to them a few months ago. My couple and I drove down from Tampa to taste and create a gorgeous cake for their wedding. It was their first and only tasting because Ron had such vision as well as the absolute best cupcakes around to entice them!
