Okay so I'd come across this name many, many times before and never got the chance to actually try it. However, the name really caught my attention and when I was in the hospital a couple of months back, I tried it for the first time (compliments of my baby daddy)! I loved it sooooo, SO much that shortly after I was discharged, I HAD to go back & bring a friend with me lol. Now, the place in itself doesn't stand out (in my opinion) if you're driving by it. I say this because we GPS'd there & drove past it again that same day & I had completely forgotten it was there. It must be the color of the business sign, who knows... but when you go inside, I absolutely love the vintage type of vibe. Maybe it's not vintage? Idk, I don't work for HGTV lol. But it's really beautiful & has a great, calm vibe. There is a lot of options to choose from, so be prepared to rip out your hair on deciding. They even have the APS Goldbars which are AMAZING by the way. Those are actually decently priced at $2. The cupcakes, however, are a different story lol. I felt they were pretty pricey, BUT you sure as heck get what you pay for. These may be the best cupcakes I've EVER had, thus far. They're super moist, nice & soft. Perfect texture, delicious all around! The sweetness is perfect because it's not overwhelming. Of course, if you choose one with a very sweet topping that might change but I've tried quite a few and even the frosting isn't too crazy. They're truly beautiful looking cupcakes as well. My absolute favorite is the German chocolate cupcake. Lord will need to save me from this place because I will ALWAYS come back! This is THE place to get cake in Albuquerque, hands down. The cake even without the frosting is fantastic. As someone who has worked at a cake shop, I am thoroughly impressed by Cake Fetish, which is not easy to do.

Cake Fetish was my fiance and I's 1st choice for our wedding cakes. I was extremely happy that they offer Italian Wedding cake! In a thorough, about 10min call, I scheduled the consultation, picked out all the flavors for tasting and paid fees (including extra for additional flavors).After traveling from out of state, specifically for cake tastings, we excitedly show up for our appt and are told they have no record of me ever calling! I was upset to say the least!! I verified with Carleen (wedding coordinator) that I called the correct company and that the charge on my bank account had their address.In the end, Carleen made up for the mishap by making a fresh Italian Wedding cake (since they didn't have one prepared for us), providing us with a 5th cake tasting servings, presenting any fillings and icings we wanted to try, reimbursing us for all fees paid, and told us we would receive the free anniversary cake regardless if we paid the $50 deposit at that time.Overall, Carleen did an amazing job and we do feel she made up for their error. We are extremely happy with their quality in taste and flavors. Since this was just the tasting, we are now more apprehensive in choosing them for our wedding cakes which is unfortunate because we were really looking forward to working with them. More...

These are some of the best cupcakes I've ever had, and I lived for ten years in Austin, a city that went absolutely cuckoo for cupcakes back in the early 2000's. By that I mean, I've tried a lot of cupcakes and these are up there at the top of the list. First of all, and probably most importantly, the cake part of this cupCAKE is not an after thought, or merely some sort of "icing delivery system." No, this cake is actually very good cake all on its own. Secondly, the yummy cake has just the right amount of delicious frosting. I am not a fan of frosting overload. I like to be able to take a nice bite of cupcake and not come away with a snoot full of frosting, you know? We are longtime devotees of Cake Fetish, so it was a no-brainer to have them do our wedding cake! First off, they were incredibly accommodating--we weren't able to be at the shop on the day they usually do cake tastings, so they arranged for a take-home tasting for us. The decision was surprisingly easy, and we settled on a banana cake with honey buttercream and a Bavarian cream filling. The cake looked more or less like the simple design we provided, with red, orange and white sugar pearls, but most importantly, it was FABULOUSLY delicious.
