If you haven't had the boudin kolaches is a must. On Saturday, I drove 30 minutes just for them to find out a person had just bought them all.
Zach went above and beyond to make us our order. Hot out the oven and definitely a great reminder of back home. We will definitely be back!

We drove through on a Saturday early afternoon and were greeted by Zach who apologized that he was nearly out. He said he had 5 boudin kolaches left - 4 jalapeño and 1 mild, but he would make fresh anything we wanted if we had 20 minutes to wait! Wow! We said we would take everything he had and he actually got teary eyed. We had time to visit and had a great conversation about how he came to this location. Zach shared that he is excited to educate people on kolaches and Cajun. We talked about how we became familiar with kolaches through family in Texas and he shared about the upcoming gumbo which I am very excited for! This is a fantastic addition to Johnston and I am thankful it is not far from my home! More...

Just had a strawberry and Cajun Belle kolache from here and really enjoyed them both. I didn't realize it was a drive thru only until I got home, and accidentally went inside.
.. but the employee was friendly and served me anyways. Great food and great service, 100% will be back.
Only knock....maybe skip the coffee for now if you dont want flavored. I wasn't expecting hazelnut but it tastes like it.

We started off our day the right way with a few Kolaches! Three different kinds, bacon and cheese, sausage and cheese, and andouille and cheese. I tell you what! The bread was soft and just tasty as can be, and the cheese and meats blended together for a match made in heaven! More...

Cajun Belle Kolache
Our homemade semi-sweet bread filled to the brim with boudin (boo-daan), a wonderfully scrumptious Cajun pork rice and seasonings.
Available in both mild and jalapeño (spicy)
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We have a general concept which includes our homemade sweet bread and a variety of fillings for both savory and sweet items. If our menu doesn't show an option you wish to have, just simply ask for your desired alternative and we would be more than happy to consider it!
What do you love most about your job?
Feeding hungry folks! It brings me great joy to be able to showcase the rich cultures of my hometown in Southeast Texas.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always wanted to have my own restaurant since I have such a passion for cooking/serving folks.

I'll do my best to fill your belly with some good authentic Southeast Texas treats!

If you're hungry, we'll feed ya!! There ain't any order size too large or too late notice for us! Just order online, call, email, text, send a carrier pigeon, telegram or whatever you have to do to get in touch with us and we'll take care of the rest! We will be happy to deliver as well, just call and confirm ahead of time to make sure scheduling works out. Thank y'all!!
