Q&As

I like to start with an initial consultation meeting to get an idea of the scope of the project and to get a feel for my client's wants, needs, and style. I will also send a questionnaire that I ask potential clients to fill out that really helps me get to know you. The project budget is also discussed during the consult. Next, I will put a proposal together with the proposed design fee pricing. Once I'm hired and I've received a deposit or retainer, I get to work designing. The amount of time I'll need to work on the design is dependent on the size of the project. I will put together a presentation, pull samples, and work on drawings (if that's what the project calls for), and a presentation appointment is scheduled. Of course, I shoot to get it right the first time, but if revisions or reselections are needed, this is the time to notify me. If the client is purchasing, I will provide the specs for everything. I receive special designer pricing for various vendors that I have accounts with, so I can also do the purchasing to pass on the discount to the client. This is also something that we will discuss in the initial consultation.

Clean lines, modern with a touch of eclecticism. I know it sounds like two completely different styles, but I make it work beautifully.

I truly have a passion for creating functional and beautiful spaces. I really enjoy projects that make me think outside of the box. And I try to incorporate what's special to each client so it's personal and sometimes even a little quirky. Like a custom-created ping pong paddle wall art installation for my table tennis client or chattering teeth wall art installation for the dentist's office- true conversation pieces.

I was inspired to start my own business for the same reason everyone does...so I didn't have to work for anyone else and to be my own boss. Is there any other reason?

If you desire a design that stands out from the rest; something fun, interesting, sophisticated, sexy, different; a show-stopper. That's what I do. I'm very straightforward and, sometimes, brutally honest, but I really think that's why my clients like me. And other than being able to give you a great design, I'd like to think I'm pretty down to earth and easy to work with.

Yes, I can provide my interior design services remotely as long as the client either has a floor plan or can take accurate measurements to work with. Photos are super important and helpful as well. The more photos you can provide, the better. Try to take photos from every angle so I can get a feel for the space.

Services

New Construction or Remodel Projects. Space Planning, Furniture, Lighting, & Fixture selections, Color Schemes, Artwork & Decorative Accessories. I can do as much or as little as you need for your project.

I can build 3D models, which is a great tool to help the client really understand and visualize their space and the newly proposed design.

For commercial projects, incorporating cohesive branding in the interior design is important. If you already have established your logo and branding, great! If not, I'm skilled in logo design and can help put together a brand guide.
