Today my friend and I joined 12 others in taking the daytime cooking class, "The Yoga of Food" which was presented by Chef Toni, owner and taste maker of Cafe Merlot. I was emotionally moved by her, as I am always with people who have a passion for their craft, especially when that passion involves food, and the healing and nurturing of our bodies .This was beyond just a cooking class. It was inspirational,a culmination of digestive and spiritual delights.The 3 plates we prepared were delicious and touched all the taste senses. The beverages of tea,coffee, mimosas,sangria, and back porch tea, all so good. It really could not have been any better. Thank You for the take away gifts. I drank all of the ginger elixir as soon as I got home, it was awesome and I feel great . Thanks to Jasmine and the restaurant staff as well. Cheers, I hope to be back More...

Location is delightful - set within the winery grounds. Dine on the patio surrounded by lush vegetation. Food is wonderful - chef blends spices perfectly creating an excellent variety of meal choices.
Also nice to stop by and share the cheese platter with a glass of wine.
Parking is easy and you can take a pleasant walk around the grounds after lunch.

Another perfect luncheon at Cafe Merlot. I have been coming here for over 12 years and consistently have superb meals and great service. I proudly bring clients for lunch or tea or appetizers. The cheese platter and strudel are my personal favorites. In December Cafe Merlot stays open for dinner during the winery's Christmas nights serving the most scrumptious gourmet meals. great chuces if hot and cold specials. i just had baked chicken, mashed, stuffing, side of one of the soups rather than the veggie and fruit salad bar, rolls and butter, a cookie for desert, all delic, for $9!
