My experience at cactus Flower Florists was amazing! I walked in, as a tourist, wanting a small cactus to fly home with, and I got just that! Bee was super helpful, she potted my cacti for me and gave me instructions on how to care for them! Thank you so much!! More...

I've spent a fair amount of money at this shop, and today is the day I've decided - never again...this isn't the first time I've been met with snobbery from this shop, and I also bought my wedding flowers from them, so it's fair to say that I understand their snooty culture before I called, but I love their work that is the end result / product so I've dealt with this crappy service in the past, so, I called to order a small gift for a friend that has the flu, and the woman on the phone asks me how much I want to spend and before I can answer, she gives me a list of remarkably high prices of the "tiers" of flowers I can purchase (I have sent flowers to friends for DECADES) and I tell her how much how I want to spend and then she says, in the most demeaning and rude tone, "JUST so you're aware, that dollar amount will result in a QUITE modest arrangement" - I couldn't believe it! ! Now here's the thing, I can afford any price range she mentioned, however, had I not been a person in the position to spend more, I would have been embarrassed and felt like crap when trying to do something kind for a friend who isn't feeling well!! CANCELED AND NEVER AGAIN. It's remarkable to me that that level of lack of compassion still happens in the service industry today. Wonderful florist. We bought two dozen roses; the staffer was wonderfully helpful and gracious, helping us select them. While she prepared them, we found the perfect card and another gift in their shop. The flowers are beautiful, and the price was much less than we expected. Not only a beautiful arrangement, but when I made a mistake on the delivery date in my online order, I called them after hours the night before I wanted them delivered and they called me back in the morning, assuring me the arrangement would be delivered that day. ..on Mother's Day. Staff super helpful and knowledgeable. I'm subtracting a star because I spent $$$ on an arrangement to be delivered and they wouldn't send me a photo of what they delivered. I think that's poor policy, especially in this age of transparency. Cactus Flowers is very reputable. They are a Scottsdale staple and have always been my go to place for flowers (since the 70's). However the last couple of times we've been a Little disappointed with the quality of the flowers we received. They were over $100 and didn't live long. My husband called and they gave him a discount. So that was nice. However, I was in a pinch today and they came though, even though I didn't get to see what I purchased. Disappointed! Flowers were ordered for me for Valentines Day. I received them at 8:30 pm. Unacceptable. The flowers were $200 for 5 roses and three lily stems the rest was all fillers. This morning two of the flowers were dead!! Again unacceptable. If I could give zero stars I would but Yelp requires a star rating. More...

Ordered flowers and balloons for a friend who was in the hospital. They told me they were delivered. Nothing was ever delivered. When I called the next day the woman on the phone was exceedingly rude. She explained to me that they couldn't deliver the flowers because my friend wasn't allowed to have flowers in his room.
