National Governors Association
The National Governors Association worked with BW Productions for our association’s annual meeting in Salt Lake City a few weeks ago. Brent’s team—Stephanie, Joey and Anita—were wonderful to work with and really captured our sessions in a fantastic way. In addition to their top-notch photography and production skills, the entire team was incredibly professional, hospitable and personable. Working with them made our jobs so much easier. Their turnaround time was also so quick, which really helped us get timely photos out to governors’ staffs and up on social media and the website. We were so impressed with the high quality of the photos as well as the speed at which the team was able to edit and upload them. Because our association is based in Washington, D.C., working with a team who had a wealth of knowledge about Salt Lake City made our time there so much more enjoyable. NGA had a wonderful experience with BW Productions, and we would love to work with them again in the future. I work for DDI Vantage, Inc., a local non-profit in Salt Lake. BW Productions has helped us with six videos to showcase our programs. Â Brent, Joey, Anita, and all of the team have been wonderful to work with. Â They take time to listen and ask questions so that the crucial parts of our non-profit were mentioned and placed into the videos. I reached out to Brent to facilitate our first video testimonial and the results were fantastic. As this was my first time facilitating one, their help in brainstorming concepts and aesthetics was invaluable. Multiple huge cameras in your face can be really intimidating and a few of our interviewees were nervous, but Brent and his team were able to help them relax and we were able to get great clips from all of them. They coordinated schedules with the client directly as well as through me, adapting to whatever worked best for each situation. We worked on a video with Brent for a national student case competition. The students had never done a video before and only had the vaguest idea what was involved. Brent did a great job of training us real time, helping us conceptualize what we wanted to say, and he was also terrific to work with on the interview filming, working through the raw footage to identify clips, and ultimately putting together the final video with background music, B roll, and transitions. The final video ran about 13 and half minutes, and the price was phenomenally affordable given the time that went into it. And we won 1st place in the nation. More...

The drone footage is especially great, and the photos are beautiful quality (which portray the property realistically—not with excessive editing like many other photographers do and the pictures wind up looking completely different than the property looks like in real life).

We worked with Brent on a video case study for a national competition. We had no idea what we were doing, no experience with video, and a short 6-week deadline. Brent, owner of BW Productions, helped us understand what we needed in the way of raw footage and B roll, he did all the filming for us, and he helped us turn 8 hours of footage into a 14 minute video complete with background music, integrated graphics, wonderful B roll transitions to maintain interest in what was basically talking heads, and a finished product with seamless transitions based on a composite of nearly a dozen interviews. Brent was easy to schedule, letting us know when he was available and for what periods of time, he was always on time and ready, and he was quick on the final turn around as our deadline approached.
