We were the world's biggest fans when we lived in the area, but have had to resort to shipping product since moving away. We never had a problem until recently . After spending 55$ in their online shop on a 6-pack of glaze on June 3 to give as gifts, I have never heard a thing from the company. I have reached out by email, messaged on FB Messenger twice (which was heart reacted and then ignored), and left a comment on a post showing off their newly bottled goods for sale. No response with any offer to either ship my order or to refund it. The customer service is so dismal as to seem intentionally rude at this point. My wife and I had lunch there today. We also had lunch there Monday of this week. I didn’t notice anything unusual about the check amount on the earlier visit (I didn’t really pay it much attention), but today I noticed that the menu prices and the check prices were not the same. There were also two different amounts on the check …. one for paying cash, and the other was just a general “balance due”, which was higher than the cash amount due. I asked our server about the difference, and first she said it was a surcharge for paying with a debit card, as opposed to paying with cash. Then she went on to say that the menu prices were different than the check price because the “system” loaded incorrect prices, and now they needed to get new menus. I believe she was just shooting from the hip. But, if that is the case …. then your paper menus on the tables need to be updated, as well as the prices on your website menu. The surcharge also needs to be spelled out on your menus and website, as well … to let folks know of the additional charge for “other than cash”. And no, it wasn’t very much of a surcharge (3% I believe she said)… but $1.30 (or more) added to each check amount during the day adds up. Thanks. More...
