Friday night and the whole family went to BBS. One son and family from Alpharetta, the other son from Arlington, VA. The BBQ was great and the fried okra fantastic. Phenomenal. I had no idea they were here. It used to be an old unimpressive German restaurant. Driving by yesterday evening in my convertible the smell hit me and my brakes locked up immediately. An $8 brisket sandwich and a side of Mac and cheese was just enough and just about perfect. I plan to try the pork next time. And next time is coming quick! More...

We went there for Mother's Day lunch. Barbecue is not my typical go to meal but the smoked chicken wrap was awesome with the jalapeño slaw. I tasted a rib from my husband's plate and they were very tasty and meaty. We finished it off with the banana pudding and we were full for the rest of the day! First time tonight on a busy Wednesday night. Once they work out a few kinks, this will be the place. The food is already too notch. My wife who is a brisket snob absolutely loved it. I'm a Brunswick stew lover and it was very tasty. All the sides were great. We will def be back. Once they add a hostess and a busser, they will be set. Many startups take a long time with their learning curve. They are at the curve already. This place is clean an updated. Servers were good and will get better. I project parking will be an issue every single night. Many can't wait to see their expanded menu. I would beg them to not change the menu. Be great at a few things instead of mediocre at everything. I ordered the Pimento Cheese-the Brunswick Stew and a salad for a quick lunch. I'm from charleston...(so that pimento cheese has to be good) And theirs was! We've passed by many times and decided to stop for lunch. Got an appetizer of Andouille sausage stuffed with cheese/jalapeño, wrapped in bacon and deep fried. Delicious.
