Brett is your guy! His work is stellar. Even when things go wrong, he is a problem solver and will come back to get the job done right. Bonus: he is a fun guy to work with. We added Hunter Douglas automatic shades and apparently ordered right when the product was upgraded (which means problems). Brett is the service contractor and official retailer but NOT part of Hunter Douglas. He bent over backwards to help us get everything right, serviced the shades countless times and replaced entire shades when needed. What service! While I wish it was one and done after install (who wouldn't?) it is incredibly reassuring to know someone like Brett is around to offer such customer service. His fabric curtains are also beautiful. i have ordered all blinds for my house over the span of couple years from these guys. they carry good products. they stand behind their work and products. i have had couple of issues but they resolved them all. now the working horse behind all this is the Brett the owner. one of the dying breed. knowledgeable small business owner with integrity that again i say it stands behind his company. sometimes it may be frustrating to communicate with the company due to fluctuation of employees but at the end Brett is there to make everything to work. I would highly recommend Budget Blinds. My husband and I moved into a new condo and needed blinds for the windows in the bedrooms. We were able to schedule a in-home consultation on a Saturday. Jorge came out to do our consultation. They have a great selection of blinds and you will definitely find something you like. The whole process was painless, we picked out the blinds and colors. I would highly recommend Brett and Troy at BudgetBlinds.I just moved into a new apartment that has floor-to-ceiling windows and I was looking for options. I did some Yelp research and decided to give BudgetBlinds a try. I had some time that day so I did a random drop-in to their office. Troy helped me and gave me lots of samples. He was very friendly and professional even though it was just a random drop-in. He gave good suggestions to try out and said that he would bring more samples to the apartment when he came on-site.When they came on site, Troy and Brett were very precise with the measurements and recommendations. There was a particular style of Hunter Douglass shades that I wanted but after measuring it properly (it was just about an inch short), they were upfront and said that it won't work. Instead, they recommended other shades that would work -- and I'm very happy with the alternative recommendations. I ended up with the Hunter Douglass Silhouette and Draper Dual Roller Shades. I purchased the shades and waited a few weeks for them to arrive.After a few weeks, the shades arrived. Heeren and Brett showed up to install them. I was in a pretty dire situation and needed my blind repaired fast for a move out. Normally the blinds are sent out for repairs but Brett and his team repaired it right there on the spot, knowing my situation. I would highly recommend Brett and Budget Blinds. They did a fantastic job on replacing shutters and curtains in a residence. I had two different companies come out and bid. The first was some cray lady in leopard skin pants. Totally disorganized etc.Second company was Brett and Budget Blinds. Brett is organized and easy to work with. Ordered the items. Brett and Kevin made my recent experience (I'm a first time client) exactly what I was looking for. The Hooper budget blinds office run by Brian Vance was very good. Brian came out and took all of the measurements and his son came out about a week later and installed our perfect blinds. It's been about two years since the installation. The blinds that Brian recommended have been great and they have exceeded all of my expectations. I'll definitely be going back to them next time I need blinds. I felt that Brian and his son were both very professional and gave me the service and time that I expected.I last purchased wooden blinds from a different company and they cracked, chipped and have been horrible. Just completed the process with new blinds in three of our rooms.  The whole process went as smooth as I could have expected.  It took minutes to measure up and give us a quote.  "Kyle" managed the installation - Called me up and showed up at my house right on time.  The whole installation process took less than an hour.  The blinds look great and work really well.  I'd recommend this organization to anybody.  Good job! Deirdre and her crew at Budget Blinds are incredible! After installing new windows in our home, I called Deirdre for a consultation. She was on time, extremely professional, and spent lots of time helping me decide which was the best window covering for all my windows. I live in an older home, with unusual windows but REALLY wanted plantation shutters. Budget Blinds made two separate visits in order to properly measure and present the best options for my home. They had to think outside the box, and suggested a couple of different scenarios to choose from as far as mounting style, etc. The blinds arrived when they were promised, and installation went smoothly. We had a chair get accidentally pushed into one of the shutters, damaging one of the louvers, and Jim was kind enough to order a replacement and come out and repair it for us at no charge. We have used Brett twice, first in 2010 when we bought our home, and more recently, in 2017 as part of a remodel. Each time, Brett was amazing. He is responsive, helpful and delivers what's promised for a great price.  In 2007, we used Brett for some simple Hunter Douglas honeycomb shades. Pretty straightforward -- he did a great job and we were very happy. As part of our remodel, we had a concept in mind for motorized shades that would disappear behind a soffit in the ceiling. Without Brett, it wouldn't have happened. Brett worked with us to design the solution and with our contractor to build it. We ended up using a mix of Lutron Caseta, Lutron Serena and Hunter Douglas PowerView Shades.  We LOVE the end product and we really enjoyed working with Brett. Budget Lines came highly recommended to me...I used another provider before who sold high priced Hunter Douglas products which I found lacked the quality to meet their high prices, so decided to try a different product. I called Jane for a consultation and she dressed all of our windows for our new home (with no pressure!) and after I received them, I can say the quality is beautiful with a warranty to match! We got mostly cellular shades which I highly recommend! They come in a great variety of colors and the black out ones are great in the nursery and bedroom. Great service. I needed new drapes for a house I am renting out in SF. I don't live in SF and it is tricky for me to schedule time to go down there. Budget Blinds worked with me to accommodate my schedule somewhat last minute and arranged to come see me while at the house while I happened to be in town.Brett came for the in-person consultation and he was very knowledgeable. I wanted the new drapes to be pretty similar to the originals (which were old and worn out) and he helped me find a near match for much less than we had paid for the originals.He was also communicative through email after that as we worked out the details of the purchase. Chris is extremely professional and helpful.  He worked hard to find a good solution to a challenging window covering issue (an 111" triple slider for which we wanted a powered UV protective shade).  He found a cost effective, beautiful solution for that window along with providing plantation shutters and blinds for other windows.  He worked hard to find attractive quality solutions that fit our budget.  The products were all delivered within a couple of weeks (compared to 6+ weeks for other quoters) and were manufactured in the US.  And his prices were less than competitors.  Installation was a breeze - on time, quick, looks great.  We HIGHLY recommend Budget Blinds of Merritt Island and Chris Cook, the owner. Writing an updated review. Following up on our not so great experience, Brett, the owner has personally followed up on the situation. We really appreciated his apology and explanation, and how he emphasized that it was by no means an excuse. Since then, he has taken every step to ensure our blinds were right, reordered everything and personally made sure we were happy with the outcome. He proactively noticed a damage during installation and is coming in tomorrow to repair. While it's been a long few months, I'm impressed with Brett's commitment to see things through. In fact, while our experience was bumpy and less than perfect, knowing Brett and the company are willing to come through when issues arise (and issues always arise when it comes to house things!), I'm inclined to come back for any future blind work! I have known and worked with Brett Jones since 2002 when I put in all new windows in my home and needed window coverings. When it comes to window coverings, picking them out, and installing them, Brett Jones is the best .  He came to my home, looked at the windows, and made suggestions as to what would look good in each of those windows.  He's extremely knowledgeable about window coverings.  In addition to his expertise, Brett has a sense of design.  We looked online, he showed me samples, and we held fabric up to the windows.  He left me with several ideas and fabric.  I played around with them until I got what I wanted.  Brett then came back and measured very carefully.  When the shades came in, he installed them, and they were just what I wanted.  I was and to this day am very pleased with the results.  I then had a studio apartment built and I called Brett again.  Brett looked at each of the windows and the sliding glass door and again he gave very good suggestions.  I followed through with them.  I've had many guests who ask me who did the window treatments.  They are all very impressed and like what they see.Brett's quotes are very fair.  His customer service is incredible.  His office returns calls right away and they pass on messages immediately.  His installers are the best.  I just recently called Brett because one of my windows needs shades.  There was a broken cord on another shade which he repaired and is now reinstalling.I highly recommend Brett Jones with no hesitation. What everyone needs to realize is that when dealing with items that need to be measured and then manufactured off site, there is always room for margins in error. Many times there can be alterations or adjustments after the first installation. So when dealing with companies like this, I always wait until after the final installation and approval by me the customer, before I ever take out my "sword" and post anything on social media. Just remember, what's important isn't what has happened, it is how you react to whatever has happened. Saying that, there were issues upon the first installation.  Without getting into all of the details because they are not what we should focus on, let's get into the response and how these issues were handled.The owner reached out and inquired as to how he could resolve any issues. He came out and personally took involvement into his company, accessed that challenges, and offered to make things right so I as his customer would be 100% satisfied.As of today, I would recommend this company due to the customer service I have received after that sale!
