My kid has struggled with anxiety for awhile. After researching different martial arts, my child opted for Karate. After contacting a few places, we tried here. Our first two visits were one on one sessions so expectations could be set on both sides. Now we’ve been going for two months and my child absolutely loves going. Usually they’re shy and anxious of doing anything but ever since we started at Buckner martial art...I’ve watched my child growing more comfortable with themselves! Great environment with a mix of a friendly, motivating and encouraging atmosphere together with a teaching method that fosters dedication, focus and discipline. The level of confidence I have seen in my child throughout the years has been visible through other areas of her life and we could not be more grateful for BMA and more proud of my daughter! 5 stars are not enough to describe this incredible place. Buckner martial art is my sons favourite place. They enjoy and learn both at the same time. We have tried few other places but didn’t find as good as this place. Staff is very professional, hard working and caring. Their dedication towards their students is tremendous. I have been coming to this dojo since I was 10 years old and have continued to attend class through my early adulthood. Senseis teaching students traditional Japanese karate and makes an effort to build everlasting relationships with everyone who steps through the doors. Senseis offers excellent karate classes that are a blend of karate techniques, sparring, kata, and general fitness. I have been attending for nearly a year now and love it. There is a great sense of community here and other students are always extremely helpful and friendly. The workouts here are intense, but they are designed help you to continuously improve and get better. Thanks to training at Buckner martial arts Dojo, I am in the best shape of my life now and have even shed 20 lbs since joining. I plan on staying for years to come! OSU! More...

I have been training at The Dojo for about 10 months along with my son. You will not find better instruction anywhere! The instructors really know their stuff and how to teach it in a fun, safe environment. Everyone from the instructors to the more advanced students are very approachable and always willing to help others learn and advance. The adult classes that I attend are very affordable and fit well with my work schedule. The skills I have learned at The Dojo extend far beyond martial arts. The instructors are firm but kind and ensure the safety of all children is top priority.
