We’ve been to BBT several times and have always had the best experience and best food! Today, however, we were greeted by someone who I believe may have been management who seemed rather irritated and put off.
Mind you a made a reservation for 12 5 days prior. I felt pressured to give an exact count- if all 12 people were coming. I’m not sure why. Even if it turned out to be 10 or 11. Did it matter? We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday.
It was a joyful occasion. We had a wonderful waitress and delicious food.
In comparison to last years party, the reception felt cooler.
We’ll try again and give grace as maybe he was having a bad day.
Thank you to the wonderful waitress for being kind and giving great service!

I grew up in Chardon and travel back from south of Toledo to visit my parents often. They brought us to Brown Barn and we fell in love. The service is fantastic and the food is creative, plentiful, and quality well beyond what you would find in other taverns. This evening, they helped me to ensure my parents had a wonderful anniversary dinner even though we could not travel to see them due to stay at home orders. They even made sure they had some bubbly to toast to their 42nd year! We wish you continued success and can’t wait for our next visit! More...
