What a fantastic day it was and so many thanks go to Lisa and the Team at Brothers Signature Catering & Events. The food was incredible, the setup was perfect and the space looked amazing. Everything from the simplest Fruit Display and the Breakfast Pastries to the Yummy Quiche and let's not forget about the ... Crispy Bacon. Yummy. I have used BSC&E in the past and have always been very pleased with the products, but this time the team outdid themselves.Lisa Gradillas was so pleasant to work with and throughout the entire process made suggestions on everything from the food and quantities down to the napkin color on the tables. She was a ray of sunshine and she was there to support the team that morning. She could sense the importance of the wedding and was there to make sure everything was just perfect. The staff she brought with her knew what they were doing from unloading to serving to tearing down and packing up. They were amazing  and left everything in perfect condition when they left. Kudos to the entire team.What a wonderful experience the team provided us. I would use Brothers Signature Catering & Events again or refer them to others. Not only was the food delish and everyone complemented how wonderful everything tasted, but the set up was beautiful beyond what I could've imagined and the staff was polite, perfect and attentive. ..all that being said...I get choked up and literally can't thank Jocelyn enough. I know my perfect day wouldn't have been what it was without her. She went above and beyond, over and over to help me in making decisions and find ways to make things just right without compromising both my vision and my strict budget. This was such an easy way to entertain a group of family and friends for my son's graduation. Having Brothers Catering handle the event allowed my husband and I to visit and enjoy our guests. I hire Brothers Catering regularly on behalf of my organization (KPBS) for corporate events. We host about 2-3 events per month, and every time we have the opportunity to choose a caterer, we choose Brothers. We have probably hired them 10 times this year so far - and no, we aren't tired of them because not only is their food excellent (by all of our employees' and guests' standards), but they change up the menu every time. Brothers catering was impressive from the moment my wife and I requested a quote for our wedding.  When we had the tasting, the food was delicious and their kitchen was amazingly clean. So I knew the food was going to be delicious on our big day and of course it did not disappoint. All 125 guests at our wedding raved about the food and how much they enjoyed everything. My biggest concern about on our big day was the schedule, I wanted to make sure everything ran smoothly because we had a lot of moving parts. Brothers catering graced our presence with a wonderful wedding planner named Jocelyn. We have a lot of type A personalities/different opinions on both sides of the family. Jocelyn handled everyone with professionalism, she knew when to chime in, most importantly she saw our vision and she knew exactly what we wanted. Just used brothers catering for our annual Christmas party this weekend. I was a little late to the game and had to book them only a week in advance. They seemed unfazed by the short notice.  Leading up to the party they were extremely efficient and communicative in getting back to me with every phone call and email.  Jocelyn helped me pick out a menu that was perfect for my event.  They arrived 2 hours prior to start time and were ready to go well before the first guest arrived. It was exceptional food, service and all round experience. Everything was wonderful! I got tons of compliments on the food. And the servers were amazingly helpful- offering to help us set up before the party, wonderful polite service, cleaned up everything and packaged it beautifully for us and put it in the fridge.  We did a few things on our own (bar, cheese table, desserts) and they did not hesitate to clean those stations also. My husband said "this is the caterer we need to use every year". Coincidentally, we had a friend over who is a chef and food distributor and has known the owner of the company for years and had nothing but rave reviews for them in all of his past experiences with them as well. They have so many choices it was a little daunting at first but we were able to narrow it down and during our first tasting they made us a wide selection to help us narrow it down. We did the filet and bruschetta chicken dual entree concept with green beans almondine and smashed potatoes. Wow, just wow. The food is delicious and you can tell the chef is both talented and proud of the work he produces.

And then there is Bill Benson, one of Brothers Catering sales managers. He went above and beyond to help us not only with culinary concerns but anything wedding related. We actually used his recommendation for floral and were very happy following his suggestion. His warm and fun personality really took a lot of the stress of wedding planning away. We knew with him helping us we were in good hands.

On the big day Brothers arrived on time and were flexible with their kitchen arrangements. They cooked all the entrees fresh on site with their mobile kitchen. Everyone of our guests were giving us compliments on our food choices. Brothers provided us with vegetarian options as well. We choice a quinoa stuffed bell pepper - it was also a huge hit. My husband and I worked with Brothers Signature Catering for our 180 person Wedding in Encinitas. We had been in communication with Brothers for some time since we took some time to plan our wedding. We originally were only going to do our cocktail hour with them but because of how great Bill was we decided to do our entire wedding with them. It was one of the best decisions we could have made. The food was delicious and it also looked amazing. Several of our guest continuously brought up our food. So many people told us it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. I agree and I have been to many weddings! All the staff at Brother's are profesional and kind. They left an impact when we visited their kitchen and we were able to hear about how they started and how they work. I've enjoyed every single conversation I've had with Bill. I had a great experience working with Brothers Catering. I had my wedding on the Aolani Catamaran, so they organized the food for drop off to the boat. Our contact changed once during the process, but I was so happy that we ended up working with Lisa. She had experience working with boat events and knew all of the details. Anything she didn't know, she was happy to find out for us. They also came to the rescue on the day of, as the boat was actually slightly late and they were able to delay the food arrival to accommodate. The food was great, we received so many compliments. They also came up with a great option for our vegan guests. The price was also very reasonable. I felt looking at many catering operations that they wouldn't be willing to provide food for a wedding of our size (small) and that was not the case here. Without a doubt a wonderful experience from the initial contact, to the thank you card they sent us, the week following our event.  We used Brothers Signature Catering to cater our law firms holiday party this year.  Food was amazing.  Never would have guessed that it was not all cooked fresh there on the spot.  Everything was the appropriate temperature.  Favorites were the short ribs, salmon and mashed potatoes.  The salad was even a hit.  Honestly, everything was delicious and then there was dessert.  Wow! Just wow!!Our two assistants the night of the event were Teresa and Jesus.  Their their attention to detail and their professionalism was impeccable.  So worth having them there at the event. Brother's did an absolutely amazing job of catering my daughter's wedding on October 1, 2017 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. From the beginning of our meetings, all the planning dealing with Jimmy and his staff (Michelle, Lindsey & Pam) was one of the best experiences I have ever had.  We had a tasting that involved the whole menu and we were so excited  to have this for our guests.  Jimmy worked with us on choices and our budget and gave us a menu to die for.  Everything from the appetizers to the entree was exceptional, but the Kobe Braised Short Ribs and the Pesto Crusted Chicken were incredible; our guests could not stop raving about the food.  Several of them even told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had.  Kudos to all his staff that helped us plan this event, but especially Michelle & Pam, I can't say enough about these two women on the day of the wedding, everything was so smooth.  Pam's staff was very accommodating and attentive and Pam was a total rock star!! In the past, wedding food has stereotypically been thought of as bland, dry chicken and watery vegetables. This was definitely NOT the case with Brothers. Brothers was the first wedding vendor we reached out to when planning for our wedding this past October 7th. Even before the venue, even before my dress. My now-husband was dead set on having them cater our wedding, and I'm so glad he chose them. They are an incredible company! My main contact at Brothers before the event was Michele. She was great at making me feel valued, even when I asked her so many of my questions about every little thing (even after I'd signed my contract). Everyone was so nice, especially at my tasting (everything was delicious!) As for my actual wedding day, they did perfectly. We were personally checked on by Michele several times throughout the night, just to see how everything was or if  we needed anything. The food was displayed/served beautifully and tasted even better. My only regret is not being able to try everything, especially the desserts- which were also beautiful. So many of our guests approached us after the wedding to rave about how amazing the food was, even calling it the best wedding food they'd ever had. Found Brothers on The Knot site and liked their menu and reviews. I called for a quote and spoke to Tony. Tony was absolutely fantastic and easy to work with the entire time! When I first spoke to him I told him I had no idea what we wanted or needed for our intimate wedding reception. The next day I received a quote and knew we were headed in the right direction. My future wife at the time and I added and subtracted some items and put together a nice selection of appetizers and smalls bites. What we didn't realize was that everything would be served cold. I assumed that things like sliders, mac and cheese bites, and meat skewers would be warmed. They were good but I think could be better served warm.The staff that set up and cleaned up were absolutely wonderful! They were on top of everything and were unbelievably polite! At the end of the evening they boxed everything up dividing it between 2 destinations so my wife and I had some goodies to take on our honey moon with us. The con of Brothers... and please note I have taken a long time to think on this, they threw away our wedding cake topper. The woman who made our wedding cake hand painted beach chairs for us and we were so excited about them. Much later that night we realized the chairs were no where to be found. I asked the hotel the next morning and they looked everywhere for them. I spoke to the bar tender and our event manager and they suggested I contact Brothers. I called Tony the next day and he asked his staff and they knew nothing of it. Unfortunately, it was the Brothers staff that cut our cake and they should have placed them on our card/favor table or somewhere safe.Update: This morning (10/2) I received a call from one of the owners, Jimmy and Tony. Jimmy read my review and researched the cake topper immediately. He was completely apologetic and offered us a credit to help replace the cake topper, acknowledging that they were irreplaceable but wanting to repair the situation. He apologized that the food was served cold and said he wanted to do anything he could to make this right for us. I told him again that I was highly impressed with their service from the original phone call to the staff packing up and leaving! I understand that they are not 100% at fault for the missing beach chairs and I do appreciate them reaching out to fix the situation. I will be happy to recommend Brothers in the future! We can't thank you and your staff enough for the absolutely wonderful job you did on the memorial buffet you provided for our dear friend this weekend. From my first conversation with Jimmy, the owner (who was kind enough to call me back over the weekend to assure me they were available on our date), to having a proposal by James e-mailed to me before noon on Monday and a confirmed menu the following day, the communication experience was wonderful. MUST BOOK! I cannot say enough positive things about Brothers Catering. They catered my wedding in May 2016 and did a phenomenal job from our initial meeting through the conclusion of the wedding. Carrie and her team were so professional and their attention to detail and attention to the bridal party was unmatched. The food was fantastic, and we had several guests comment on it being the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Nothing short of he best. My heart is so full of appreciation words can not come close to capture my gratefulness. My father passed away and I needed to plan a luncheon for aproximently 150 people for after the funeral service. I was so numb with grief I could not think straight. Everything seemed so foggy in my head. My mother wanted everything done at our home. My head was swirling on how I was going to put this together. Rentals,plates,linens, food,chairs etc.... I called Brothers signature catering and spoke to a beautiful lady named Julie she told me not to worry about anything and she would handle it all. She asked only one thing of me  I needed to clear aside a staging place in our garage for her crew to work their magic. When we pulled up to our home after the services I couldn't believe my eyes. The food was presented on our dining room table it was gorgeous top sirloin ,Sea bass and the salads. The flower arrangements on the tables Everything was superb. One of the brothers Jimmy Kashou was the main man on site and what an Angel from heaven. His staff was beautiful as well. I was on a Yelp hiatus for a little while as life got a bit crazy, but I'm jumping back into it now and this was the first one I wanted to write! I was lucky enough to attend a Yelp Elite event hosted at the Brother's signature headquarters. First of all, it was so awesome getting to have a behind the scenes look at their kitchen- Huge, spacious, super clean. You know that they are seriously throwin down in there. There were a bunch of different stations that were set up with different dishes that they made. From fresh shucked oysters to a craft cheese table (they had this truffle cheese that was to die for, especially if you hit it with a drizzle of honey.) My favorite was definitely this melt-in-your-mouth-heavenly-experience plate of slow smoked beef brisket with thee most rich (enough, not overpoweringly so) cauliflower puree. Oh yea, and it had chimichurri and crispy onion strings. Can you tell how much I loved it? *Goes back for seconds* I don't think I even got to try everything now that I'm looking back at the event photos haha. But honestly the parties aren't even just about the food, there was SUCH a great and buzzing energy at this event! My friends and I got to have a chat with Jimmy and he was SO awesome. He even told us to the secret to his long and successful marriage (psst.. Ladies are ALWAYS right!) Apparently he also loves talking about his kids to everyone haha and I had the pleasure of meeting his daughter. Not only did we talk to Jimmy but a lot of the caterers that work for Brother's would check in on us to see how we were doing and seeing if we were having a good time. Can we just get a slow clap for Snake Oil Cocktail Company? Those blue drinks were beautiful and freakn delicious. The Yelp drinks?!  Amazingly crafted and so yummy. I am the Manager of the LCT Pavilion which is the venue for these special events and wanted to give 5 starts to Jimmy and his entire staff for their wonderful organization. I work with different caterers all the time and often have people asking for recommendations on who to use for their special events. I would not hesitate to recommend Jimmy and his staff. You let Jimmy know what your budget is and he will make it happen! At an Anniversary event this weekend they arrived at our venue ready to go and were very organized. They also set up the most artist buffet and dessert tables. They did a wonderfully organized plated meal and you can tell his staff knows their stuff! What a amazing company & family business! Brother's Signature Catering was very accommodating to our menu preferences & our wishes. We decided to have our rehearsal dinner at our home in the courtyard. I had a vision of a long farm table with gourmet food, hand passed appetizers and bar service. Brother's brought this to life, and it was even more beautiful than I imagined!With the stress I was feeling the week before the wedding, the rehearsal dinner was the first opportunity I had to relax and enjoy myself & my family. There was nothing I needed to worry about. Jimmy from Brother's and his team meticulously took care of all the details. Brother's went above & beyond to deliver excellent service - from the owners, to the chefs, to the servers. We felt like they were family after this experience. Wow. They know how to throw a party and take care of every detail. They also have great employees who will work with you along the way to handle everything. They have some fabulous foods, fresh oysters, hamachi crudo, meats and they rock out an insane meat and cheese table.
