Beautiful wedding venue Was little hard to find our way from reception hall to courtyard for cocktail hour we had to go through an area where they were prepping food but the venue is absolutely gorgeous and staff is so friendly. The Brooklyn arts center is a fantastic venue to have any event. I have been to multiple weddings there and many nationally recognized bands come here to perform. We saw the band Yonder mountain string band perform at the Brooklyn arts center and the sound and lights were fantastic.Very intimate setting and they have several bars in the venue selling, liquor, beer, wine and soft drinks. It is within walking distance to front street and water street. The wave transit bus line also has a stop in front of the Venue.Wilmington also operates a complimentary shuttle in the downtown which is free and stops at many cool places and venues in the downtown Wilmington area. THIS IS YOUR VENUE! From the inital tour of the venue to the big day itself, Rich made us feel at home within the walls of the Annex. Anything we could dream of, he dreamed with us! He gave us ideas and vendor recommendations that were so spot on. I attended a Chamber of Commerce sponsored event there. The venue was very nice. Lots of seating space and a separate space for a buffet line. I would have given it 5 stars, but the AC system was quite loud and distracting. It made it somewhat difficult to hear the speaker when it ran. Otherwise, I like how they maintained the original architectural design of the Presbyterian church. Very nice! I plan to return to see the rest of the Arts Center. More...
