Seen this restaurant when searching for places near to beach to take friends from out of town. 2 minutes walk from the beach. Just heads up, parking is limited so you'll most likely end up paying for parking where the beach is.Honestly, outside of the fact that the ladies working the night we went looked completely under staffed and their iPad broke that took and relayed their orders. It was overall good experience.The PBJ Brussel Sprouts were unique and low key very good and I'd recommend them. Fish spread was also good but nothing crazy compared to anywhere else.Our family friends had the bowl and shrimp scampi which they had no complaints.My mother and I had the crusted mahi and hogfish. The hogfish was good but nothing great.Wouldn't recommend the ribs unless you like dry ribs and having to dip them in BBQ sauce. More...

Well, in the area for a couple of days And decided to come here based upon the yelp reviews.We walked in, and it was fairly busy, but we pointed out a four top table to sit at and they only wanted to give us a two top. A bunch of him in Hying and finally they gave us a four top. It was 830 at night.After that, everything was fantastic. Our waiter, John, was a sweetheart with a radio voice and he treated us very well. Very attentive, filled our beers upon near empty, and paid close attention which was great.I had the ribs and my buddy had the hamburger. The ribs were fantastic, just a little more sauce as I like them really saucy but no big deal. They were fantastic and I ordered the mashed potatoes which were from fantastic and the pineapple salad.Again, it was absolutely fabulous and I could not finish the entire rack.My buddy ordered the hamburger and the meat patty must have been 1 inch thick. This is a hidden gem. Everything was delicious. I was a little nervous, since there were not a lot of cars in the lot and the front half is under construction. However, the food is great. Agree with the drunken shrimp reviews. Ask for more bread!! Also tried the steak tacos which were really light and great tasting. Pineapple coleslaw had a kick and was so good. Chicken bowl was tasty and also light. The spinach salad was a good size, but I would request the dressing on the side next time as it was overdressed for my taste. Absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and service was great. After several days of food at “tourist trap” type places we were dying for something local.
We couldn’t have chosen better. Seared tuna, fish dip, drunken shrimp, filet mignon, hog fish, churros and the Ballistic Elvis Sandwich were all 💯💯💯.

I have eaten all the way up and down the peninsula from Clearwater to pass a grill and down to Terra Verde.Live here. I eat out every night. This place is my favorite restaurant than the entire peninsula. For the food quality is excellent.I would make recommendations for everything that I have here has been top of the line so just order what you want.Outstanding service they are expanding as they should. A gem in the rough is an accurate description of this place. We stopped in because we were told it was amazing. Do not eat here!!!!! We made a reservation for a Saturday night at 5pm. We called to confirm the day of and remind them we needed a high chair. When we arrived the place had no where to stand and was told to wait outside for a few minutes. 15 minutes later they came outside to get us, and told us they just have there high chair away. They only have two and both just sat so we would have to hold the baby. When we asked about specials the waitress told us "they had some but to tell us she would have to find out" but she never told us. When we ordered drinks they said wine and beer only but no drafts. We asked for straws for the kids and were also told they "don't have those". The food came out late and was not very good. Our last meal came out 15 min after the first. We were charged an extra $.50 for bbq sauce that didn't come with the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. We never saw the waitress. Very unsuspecting. When we walked in I was already prepared to be a little disappointed ...just bc ambiance seemed a little off. They were just getting going for the night (it was abt 5:30) and wasn't sure what to expect. Wow, I totally misjudged. The food was sooooo good!! Fresh seafood, smoked fish dip, blackened fish sandwiches. I had the shrimp bowl with a side of the pineapple slaw added to it-um, yes!!! Just do it!!! Seriously, I see what people rave about! One bummer was they don't serve cocktails...I think it'd be just a little step above if they did...but, Their food is on point!! My boyfriend and I have been coming here for the past 3 years when we stay for the 4th of July. Every time we have had the food here it has been excellent! This time we sat inside and had John as our server. John was so cool and attentive. He is fun to talk to and made us feel right at home. Come here for the Hog fish sandwich. Best Cuban I have had in a longtime. The hog fish sandwich was a great mild fish sandwich. We were party of 10 and it went smoothly minus the missing cheese from the sandwiches. Try the tres con leche!!!!

Atmosphere - Difficult to say. The restaurant was in the process of remodeling a large portion of the restaurant. What was not under renovation was interesting. The restaurant has a bohemian feel to it. There is an area outside for dining, but it was way too hot to do anything other than eat inside. Service - Outstanding! Our server (Lily) was excellent in every way that you would like a server to, whether you are the owner or a patron. She had a very sweet, yet professional, way about her. Food - Excellent! Although the menu is a little limited and some choices are very unique for a beach town bar/restaurant, there were several options that I would loved to order. In the end, I chose the Buckshot Grilled Cheese sandwich. It was packed with 3 different types of cheese and just the right amount of bacon. The bread was grilled perfectly and it was one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches that I have ever had at a restaurant. This was our third visit and the food was as wonderful and fresh and creative as usual. The standard menu is great with typical breach side grill favorites but the real winners are the specials of the day. This visit we had pan seared Asian spiced scallops that quickly became the seafood highlight of our trip. We stopped early on a Friday and were the first customers. We discovered this place by doing a Yelp search and it showed up as the Number 1 choice. The inside is very interesting and they are in the midst of renovation. Our server, Lily, was one of the best servers I have ever had. She promptly took our drink orders, and I thoroughly was impressed they are a "No Straw" restaurant.Their menu has sandwiches, salads, bowls, appetizers and entrees, in addition to specials of the day. Lily asked if we were interested in hearing the specials and her favorite menu items. What a great touch! She said she liked the pulled pork and that's what I had in mind, so I ordered it. While we waited for food, there was great music playing and lots to look at on the walls. My food arrived quickly, but I learned she thought I said pulled pork bowl, while I wanted the sandwich with fries. She quickly remedied the meal and it arrived piping hot. The sandwich was huge!!!!! There was pork spilling out all sides. There was a bite to the sauce, and my lips were soon tingling. The fries were just crinkle cut, but were cooked well and were hot, so were enjoyable. I only wish there was more coleslaw on the sandwich to cut some of the heat.During our entire lunch experience, not only was Lily attentive, but other people were as well. Employees must be happy here and they all seemed to help one another. Soooo good! Loved the ambience inside. Very relaxed and easy going, but incredible food! I split the catch of the day with my mom (hence the smaller looking portion in the photo). Even splitting the meal with my mom, I was still satisfied! The red snapper was delicious! It was light and tender, cooked to perfection. Being cooked in the corn husk gave it a rich, almost smoky flavor. The mango salsa tied it all together. Absolute perfection Now... the flourless chocolate cake.. TO DIE FOR. Dropped in lateish on the Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend. Couldn't believe we were seated (inside) in about 5 minutes. The place is always packed. Must have caught a lull. Madison waited on us. She was friendly, up beat, and energetic (even at close to ten o'clock!). They were sold out of quite a few menu items, but that's a good thing (means they're popular and busy).
