I went with a friend for lunch at Broadway. First off, good ambiance. Nice, cozy place. We ordered three things:1) Gobi Manchurian2) Paneer KajuMakhana3) Khatta Meetha BainganThe Gobi Manchurian was very nicely marinated and crunchy from the outside. It was a good, healthy serving for two people. The Khatta Meetha Baingan also had a very tang taste to it. Good chunks of eggplant with a nice serving of gravy. The star of the show was the Paneer KajuMakhana! I'm not a vegetarian but I loved it! Visited on a weekday for dinner with my boyfriend. We got a table immediately. The ambience of the restaurant was nice and the staff was prompt and helpful. We decided to order only appetizers on that day as we wanted to try everything on the list. :DOur order:- avocado and quinoa bhel - very good- puchka Chaat - not good (the warm garbanzo beans just didn't go well with the yogurt).- pesto cilantro paneer Tikka - good- Bombay bruschetta - very good (my fav of all)- chocolate molten cake and vanilla ice cream - amazing!We also ordered a mango mojito which was okayish and wine (Pinot noir) which was very good.Overall we really enjoyed our meal. As a non-Indian person, I thing It's a really good place for Indian food. The curry chicken, curry lamb and curry fish are all pretty good. Curry lamb is most spicy but still acceptable. The ambience is really nice and good for large group dining. However, parking is terrible because it's in Redwood Downtown. Street parking is available but space is limited. Heat the parking!! The food was delicious (as always). This is our favorite Indian restaurant on the peninsula so we end up there frequently. Came here on a Thursday at noon for lunch with a colleague. We had a reservation so we were seated right away. We both ordered the butter chicken with rice and naan which was delivered almost immediately! We were both stunned at how quickly they were able to deliver our meals - I would definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch. The food was delicious! Delicious varieties on the menu, the fish from Goa, the old-school chicken curry, butter chicken, cauliflower and beans were quite good, I give them all 8/10.  Garlic naan and roti were meh nothing special. I like that it's traditional Indian food from various parts of India with a bit of a twist. Four of us ordered four entree dishes with garlic naan and roti and rice, Unfortunately we finished everything and were still very hungry. Serving sizes of each dish compared to most Indian restaurants is actually very small. But this is Redwood city, this restaurant is quite pricey and there's no competition locally. I had some chicken tikka masala I had purchased from Costco and some garlic naan I made. I wanted samosa and biryani to round out my meal. I got on Yelp, searched for biryani, and found Broadway Masala. I've passed this establishment on numerous occasions, but I've never dropped on. After a quick browse of their menu, I opted to have the samosa appetizer and the Mumbai Murg biryani delivered to my home.The delivery was scheduled for 5:44-6:04. The food showed up at 5:45. We were in the mood to eat at a fancy place and while searching for one I hit upon this Indian place. More often than not when you eat at a fancy Indian place, you get the same tikka masala etc. However, this place turned out to be different. We had the Baingan (Eggplant) curry and the Fig & Walnut Kofta. Both delicious! The appetizers were lovely as well. Pesto Paneer and the Apricot Tikki. Loved them. We ended the meal with Dal & Rice. Pretty standard but very well made.Only one negative side is that the place is a little expensive and $$ is not the right indicator. It should $$$ on the yelp app. Friendly staff and service. This one is hard to rate.It's a Michelin recommendation, with nice decor and good food presentation, there's some good kick for its flavor but pricey. Since it's a company lunch so giving a 4.The naan and paratha bread wasn't impressive, so weren't the appetizers. We ordered the sampling platter. The chicken was nice with a bit of roasted texture on the outside, the lamb was simply weird, spicy but dry, not the typical Indian flavor of spiciness, more of American and Indian fusion. I can only give 3 for them.The best dish was the basmati rice plates, great flavor and texture. The curry dishes (fish/chicken/lamb) go very well with basmati rice, and the ingredients can be tasted from the flavors, that they use not only fresh but better ingredients. Loved the Butter Chicken and naan.  My all time favorite. The Biryani rice dish was excellent very flavorful and tasty.The saag paneer and dal are also good vegetarian options. I am huge fan of Broadway Masala and good they serve. We have had the Kofta, the daal and the mix veg sabzi there. Also, we have tasted the Gobi Manchurian and various breads that they offer. I couldn't appreciate them enough for the delicious food they make and the exceptional service. The waiters are really polite and hospitable. The food has depth of flavor which so many Indian places in the Bay Area lack. As I have already mentioned, I am huge fan of their food. Broadway Masala is one of our favorite restaurants in downtown RWC. We always get the butter chicken, saag (with added paneer), rice and naan. We usually get some sort of appetizer. This visit we got the samosas. The food is always quite flavorful.
