I think that the new owners have priced themselves out of the market in Kingsport. Trying to make a fast profit is not a long term business.

Stopped today for hot dog meal. I asked for mustard and chili on the hot dogs. I was advised chili is 99 cents extra which made the meal $10. 98. I cancelled the order and went to Pal’s which was much cheaper. Never heard of an up-charge for chili on a hot dog. I will never go back. More...

Shane and I were out riding today and came up on this little BBQ place in Kingsport. Now I am very picky about BBQ but Broad Street BBQ is amazing! !!! The slaw is the closet to my homemade that I have ever had. Shane loved the baked beans. The owner came out to talk with us, super nice man. I ordered brisket, fries and slaw and when I picked it up, the price was actually $4 more than menu stated. Not that big of a deal, but the meal and added tip made it over $20. the fries were hard and cold, and the brisket was quite fatty. The slaw was great! I won't plan to go there again, even though I've always had good food until this time. Very underwhelmed! More...
