Q&As

We have been in business for Over 35 years, & we certainly look forward to the next 35 years!

Yes! We only ask all clients to provide a roll of paper towels and a trash bag.

WE LOVE OUR CLIENTS and any feedback provided. We realized that all process (if not reviewed thoroughly and consistently) are not bullet proof. So any feedback is certainly welcomed to help us improve at all times.

Empowering women has always been near and dear to Brite Maid Services. We realized that many companies were not local when we first started back in the 80's. Many women were treated unfairly and never really set up for success, due to their backgrounds, lack of education, and lack of basic training from these outside companies. We took it upon ourselves to help women in need and train them to succeed. We are glad to say, that in our over 30 years of providing services to the DMV area; we have created a family atmosphere, where our staff can come to work and take pride in what they do. Which in turn has always resulted in providing the best possible services to all clients of the DMV area.

We are a hyper local, minority woman owed business that has heavy ties with hiring locally. Our seasoned professionals take pride in their work. With over 35 years in the industry... Our Work Is Our Best Reference!

1-2 staff per property only, who will work in different rooms/areas at all times. We are also asking that all clients practice social distancing with the property to all the staff to process the cleaning. For Example: client in the living room , while master bath & master bedroom are cleaned. The staff would announce that these rooms have been processed and the client allows for the staff to move into another area, while the client now stays in the newly cleaned bedroom.

As essential workers, our seasoned professionals are wearing brand new, one-time use shoe covers, masks, and gloves per property. These items are sourced from our international supplier, to ensure that local supplies for healthcare workers are not affected by our use.

Our staff are trained to wash their hands with soap or use hand sanitizer in between every cleaning, in addition to washing their hands frequently throughout the day.

Our tools and equipment are kept in new protective gear per each property. We are and (have been) sanitizing our mops per cleaning and have new mops if requested, all cleaning clothes are new per property.

We ensure the proper dwell time needed for disinfectants to work properly before wiping or cleaning from surfaces.

Please move furniture such as coffee tables, chairs and other similar pieces of furniture that can impede a full carpet shampoo. Pay attention to high traffic areas, as these are the areas our staff will be targeting the most, and thus require the paths to be clear of movable furniture or household clutter.

Our staff will first use a commercial grade vacuum to ensure all superficial dust, grime, and particles are picked up, prior to commencing the carpet shampoo. For this reason, if you have scheduled both a cleaning and a carpet shampoo with us, the carpet shampoo will always be the last service we provide in your home on the appointment date.

High traffic areas are pre-treated with the appropriate solvent. Brite Maid Services uses standard industry-approved solvents.

Our staff will ensure minimal liquid and water is used for the carpet shampoo, but we do advise allowing sufficient time and ventilation to allow the shampooed area to fully dry before being subject to further foot traffic.
