We recommend everything about Bright Spot Cafe! The help is amazing, the space is very cool and the food was spectacular! My husband and son played football at PSU so wanted to support Brandon Noble and just venture . We made the half hour drive for brunch and were blown away! My guilty pleasure is Chicken and Waffles and theirs is amazing! The portion was huge, the waffle airy and buttery light. The chicken was juicy, seasoned and cooked perfectly and topped with a side of the most delicious maple syrup ever tasted. I ate like a football player and devoured every bite. My husband had eggs and fabulous homemade sausage patties. Our waiter was friendly and genuine! We loved our chat with the one owner, Tommy. Such a great guy! We will go back again and again. The only recommendation is that Google Maps fails at the very end, as the cafe is in an office neighborhood complex. More...

Food was so so good and the location is so cool and industrial looking with an option for outdoor seating. Felt super comfortable. Tables spread out, servers and staff all wearing masks (if this is a concern for you). There’s games and shuffleboard to keep busy while your food is being made. To start this place was impossible to find. The gps does not take you to the actual restaurant. The signs point you to a locked door on the opposite side of the building. After finding it we got seated in what felt like a cafeteria instead of a cafe. We got our food and it felt like the waitress let it sit for 15 minutes because the food was cold. I got a sandwich and it felt like the bread was at least 2 days old. Every ingredient tasted like bottom of the barrel cheap food. Just ate at Bright Spot for the first time. got the Lumberjack burrito and it was delicious. It's packed with all your favorite breakfast items and enough to split with someone. The staff at bright spot went above and beyond for us. They delivered our care package dinner for a family member as soon as they could deliver it after the last snow storm. The food was delicious. We got them the Shepard’s pie meal and the bread pudding The bread pudding was out of this world and the Shepard’s pie was minced meat. Not just ground beef! It was perfect and plenty of left overs!! I had lunch there yesterday. The menu was amazing. I had a hard time making up my mind because everything looked great! I had avocado toast and brought home a meal for dinner . Everything was excellent and I will be back. The room is big, the tables were spaced, there was a patio area, sanitizer was everywhere and the owner took every step to make it safe.
