My wife and I are building a 5300 square foot house and were absolutely thrilled with the finish product. The teams suggestions and input were welcome and spot on. They suggested many cost saving and design features we had not thought of.

The software drawings and 3D pictures were second to none including any architects drawings that would have cost tens of thousands of dollars more. Every promise and deadline was met or exceeded in all phases. We had absolutely no problem securing trade estimates or a building permit.

We used Houzz to find Bridgewater Consulting when we determined that we needed a design plan for renovating a newly purchased 1890’s home. Brayden Mclaughin was very responsive and attentive to our requirements as he provided a custom design that we were very happy with. Though the old home lacked any architectural detail, Brayden’s design incorporated our desired features and wants for the prospective renovation. When completed, the results were fantastic, and we were excited to go about finding a contractor. However, we changed our mind and decided to go in a different direction by going with a new build. Being extremely satisfied with our renovation plan and with our relationship with Brayden and Bridgewater Consulting, we went back to Brayden to see if we can start from scratch with a new plan. Considering, we had a plan we paid for that we weren’t going to use, he adjusted his pricing for this second effort. We found a base plan on the internet that provided a generic footprint and style of home we wanted. Brayden then went to work and made that basic design, “ours” by continuing with our style from the first plan and incorporating it along with all our desires and requirements into the new build plan. We now have our (2d) plan and that we’re very excited about and look forward to selecting a builder to bring Brayden’s work to fruition. I located Bridgewater through a google search for architects/home design in the Lincoln area. We were moving from several states away and looking for some help getting a home design for an acreage we purchased. It only took a short call with Bridgewater to become very comfortable with them. They were responsive and helpful, especially for a first-time home builder and attempting to do this from such a distance. After a few email conversations, we had an online meeting where we could share our wants and needs. They came very prepared and asked many questions we would not have thought of. We decided to go with Bridgewater to design our house and have not been disappointed. They ran on schedule, gave us plenty of opportunity to provide feedback and make changes, and we are really happy with the final design.
