Bridalhenna did my henna for my wedding and she did an absolutely amazing job. Ms. Dipti is fast and good henna artist. She is punctual and quick to respond. I will advise new brides to select their henna design ahead of time from sources like pinterest or google it so that the artist will be prepared and aware of what you are looking for. Alternatively, pick the design from her henna book. Let the artist know if you prefer exact replica (mirror image) on both hands before she starts drawing the design. Try to set up an appointment ahead of time (atleast 1-2 months in advance) and if available take evening time slot. Do not spray sugar/lemon too many times otherwise henna will stick to your hand will be difficult to get off. I just love Dipti Desai, she is an excellent artist and a beautiful reflection of the famous Mehandi artist Asha Salve. She is a perfectionist and makes sure that the work pleases not only her but her customers too, if you would like certain style, she will offer even better & will keep you happy & smiling. I loved working with Dipti aunty. Right from the beginning, she was willing to work with me on the specifics of exactly what I wanted and made it possible. Everything from the trial, (I wanted a very specific Maharashtrian bridal look), the mehndi (loved her design and color came out great!) to the actual day, she made sure things went smoothly. She was also willing to learn the Maharastrian nauvari (nine yard sari) style and helped drape it, which greatly helped me during our tight schedule. She was so accommodating, pleasant, precise and fast throughout the whole process. I went to her house to have it done and felt like I was right at home. Dipti Desai did a lovely job on my bridal henna--she had my arms and feet complete in just 3 hours without compromising the intricacy of the design (which is great, considering that I've heard of brides sitting still for 5+ hours. ..). She left clear instructions on how to get the best color and keep it for as long as possible. She arrived on time and brought all of her supplies with her, including a small table to work on and a book of designs (and she was great about incorporating designs I found online). The next day, she brought along an assistant to help with my mehndi party--everyone had a great time. My only piece of constructive criticism is that she kept asking me if everyone who wanted henna was done. She was even getting ready to give me the final bill. As the bride, I was a little surprised by this, because there were clearly other point people to ask, and it felt like she was eager to get on the road. Other than that, I was really happy with Dipti Desai's work and would recommend her. On a side note: if you're considering figures (a bride and groom) in your design, Dipti does a great job. I got my bridal henna put on my Dipti Aunty. She was so nice, friendly and very knowledgeable about the art. I met with her prior (about 1 month) to my henna night to pick out a design and go over what I am exactly looking for. I told her I would like to incorporate some personal touches into my henna and she ensured me that she would perfect my request by the time of my event. I used Dipti's henna services prior to my engagement ceremony. The mendhi she did for my mom, sister, and me was beautiful.
