We rented The Barrel House for our October 2019 wedding and could not have had a more magical fall weekend venue. With the uncertainty of temperatures I needed to make some last minute requests and Josh and Savannah were more than helpful. Our guests loved the industrial yet quaint vibe. This venue is hands down AMAZING!! We had it for the whole weekend, which made set up easy and everything less stressful!! Everyone that attended our wedding couldn’t stop talking about how amazing it was and how they would love to live there!! My husband and I loved the look and would love to live there ourselves ! And you can get amazing photos done there as well, which my photographer captured many!!! We would definitely consider having other events there and will highly recommend to friends and family!! We had our rehearsal, ceremony and reception at the Barrel House, as well as stayed through the weekend, and we weren't disappointed! Josh is a pleasure, and very easy, to work with and was extremely helpful throughout everything. The venue is absolutely beautiful and has so many features that make your event smooth and easy; we got so many compliments about it at the reception. We stayed at the Barrel House with a small group of co-workers for a business trip to Chambersburg. This house exceeded our expectations, it was very spacious, clean, and had all the thoughtful amenities you would want. The floor plans are very well laid out, with enough space to have some privacy if needed or many gathering areas to hang out together.We were able to spend a lot of time on the patio which was very big, with plenty of chairs to sit around the table and relax outside under the pergola which was lit up with strung up lights. The kitchen is perfect for gathering the group up to hang out around the island or sit and have a meal together at the large table. Commercial appliances and kitchen fully stocked with just about everything you would need was great.Josh, the host was very communicative before and during our stay. He replied back promptly whenever we had any questions. We were very impressed by the Barrel House and will plan to stay here again in the near future. My Husband and I got married at the Barrel House a couple of weeks ago and we loved every second of our stay there. We were planning a wedding from over 600 miles away and the selling point for us was that our wedding party from out of town could stay at the venue while they were in the area. We wanted a unique spot that was laid back but also elegant. Josh was great at communicating with us and very helpful with rentals and suggestions as to how to set everything up once we told him the feel we were going for. He was accommodating with our travel schedules and allowed for flexibility in our stay. We couldn’t have gotten through the day without LeeAnn. She is an amazing coordinator. Anything we needed her to do she was willing and able to make happen. I did not have to worry about a thing when it came to vendors setting up, keeping the wedding party gathered up per ceremony, or making sure the guest knew what to do and the ceremony and reception kept a good pace. The Barrelhouse is a unique, amazing space to hold an event. I have attended weddings, photo shoots, and private holiday parties there. I even chose to house Philadelphia mosaic artist, Isaiah Zagar and his wife at the beautiful Barrelhouse while they were visiting Chambersburg to create our community's murals. I recently approached Josh and Erica about hosting a charity event for the CASD miniTHON. The answer was "yes" and we worked together to throw a fundraiser in a matter of weeks. The space needs very little decoration as it is unique and decorated tastefully with love. The outdoor patio and garden area are also beautiful and thoughtfully-appointed. I represent CJS BBQ Smokehouse. This is a top notch venue. Very classy but quaint. Plenty of room and decorated beautifully. Having a kitchen there and being allowed to utilize the items in the kitchen is a wonderful benefit. The Barrel House is a great place! I had my daughters sweet 16 there and the space was beautiful. My experience was definitely a great one! Josh and Julian were both very nice and very helpful with everything! Josh was great with staying in touch and responding quickly to emails and even checks in with you before your event to see about last minute details. The Barrel House is such a beautiful venue!! When you walk in the door you instantly feel at home. It is such an intimate venue for either a party or a wedding. The decor is unique and there are places to get a good picture everywhere. All the tables really caught my eye since they are reclaimed barn wood. The venue was nothing short of AMAZING!! Absolutely beautiful, everyone always says “the pictures don’t do it justice” but their virtual tour really does not compare to the beauty inside we used this venue for a bridal shower but I was trying to brainstorm a way to use the whole place next time! ! All three floors are incredible. I’d recommend this for any kind of party including weddings :) Josh was also absolutely incredible.
