The food here was good. I got the Cobb salad. I didnt really like the dressing on the salad but the pulled chicken and pulled pork on the salad was SO good! Nice place and the food was really good. We had a group of 40 and they were great about accommodating us. There is a patio area that's good for larger groups. I was a little bummed that there is no full bar, wine and beer only, but the beer selection is large so I was able to find a good cider to enjoy. What made our visit here so good was our Server.  His name was Matthew (We were there Weds. 11/6/19) He was so knowledgeable about the wine (Yeah, I'm not a beer person) and so helpful and extremely friendly and attentive.  I asked how long he had worked there and he said it was his 2nd day!  OMG! They sure got lucky to hire him!  He's AWESOME! I have driven by this place a million times (All 3 of my kids have attended Los Alamitos HS) and I had never been there before.  I'm not a beer person and it never seemed like a cozy place so I never really considered trying it out. I was surprisingly impressed with the entire place.  It is cozy(inside and out) Matthew got the heaters put on outside so we could sit on the patio, it was great! I was surprised to see so many families there but now I get it, the food is fabulous and perfect for families! The beer flights that we saw looked great so I can't wait to bring my son and husband here! We had an event in that center so when it was over a bunch of us went back and everything was fun, delicious and the service was great! Thank you!  I can't wait to return with my family! More...

Four stars because I love this is the only place of it's kind for a good number of miles around. It's nice having a brew pub in town. Very large beer selection with lots of local options which is cool. Food is hit or miss. I've yet to order anything that blows me away from a quality/taste standpoint though it's clear the owners intend for this to be gastro pub and not beer bar. Menu offerings are not basic bar grub and atmosphere is nice (love the patio seating option) . If you're on the fence about going, definitely give it a shot. Need to support local places like this. I had a great time here. The beer selection is amazing and constantly rotating ( every Friday). The staff is very cool and they definitely know their beer. This may become my new chill spot.

Everything here has been great. The food, the service and da beers. If you can't decide on the beers, make sure to ask for a flight. Enjoyed the Sancho today at the bar with a brown ale. Fantastic burger , great service and a great menu. I'm a bigger fan of large fries but they provide beer cheese with the shoe string fries. Fantastic option!

BOMB, BOMB BOMB!Everything here is amazing! Seriously, from quality of food to service. Stopped by after a game at the high school. The food was amazing! From the mac and cheese, brisket to die for, pulled pork that was perfect to the extensive beer selection, we were impressed! Tall refreshing beers after having sampled and made our selections. Samples are 2.50 for 5 oz. Ordered empanadas as Beer Snacks and they were just Ok; a little doughy and the beef filling had some gristle. The spinach one was better. Now, my lasagna with garlic toast was mouth watering and the Wild Salmon Quinoa salad my husband found very flavorful which he rates it 5 stars for a healthy entree.This place had always been packed as we drove by being this the reason we had never tried it. Stopped by here for a late lunch after a doctors appointment on a Wednesday afternoon. Not many people here but I can definitely see this place getting packed for dinner. It's on the smaller side, but has a great vibe to it! The service was amazing-so no complaints there! On the food side of things- we were not disappointed! On the menu today was the Sancho Burger, fries, a side salad, blackened shrimp taco, blackened salmon taco and rice and beans! The burger was just so delicious! It was a mixture of ground angus and ground brisket, and so full of flavor! A burger well done, and well worth the Best of Orange County award it touts. The Parmesan fries were a great side to the burger, and the side salad was just a way to make my husband feel better about at least consuming some veggies with his glutenous meal. The tacos were also great! The shrimp and salmon both had great flavors, and the slaws on each were different and bursting with flavor! I would definitely come back here, and the wings would be the first thing I try! They have specials many nights of the week, and a very expensive beer/wine menu! We really enjoyed eating here. We ordered a burger called "the Sancho." It was quite tasty and a nice large burger. We ordered ours med-rare but received a burger cooked to medium. That was the only negative of our visit though. For dessert we had the ice cream sandwich, we absolutely loved it! It was so delicious that we would probably go back for that alone! We told our server how we felt about our dessert and she told us it was all made in house. We thought that was really cool  There are definitely more items on the menu that we want to try so we will be back soon! Lastly, service was good, friendly and attentive. First time here. Decided to try the famous "sancho" burger.  The place is clean and casual. Service was good. Servers name was Michael. Burger was pretty good, it came out hot and fresh which made me happy cuz so many times I go to a restaurant and they bring me out cold or warm food. Wife had salmon salad. So, I don't if anyone is like me (LOL), but if I see ALE HOUSE I'm going in for a brew haha. I walked in and it was super clean which made me very happy. I sat at the bar and was instantly greeted with a smile. The young lady that helped knew her brews and helped me choose two great beers. I had a glass of hef which is their #2 and a #17 pale ale. I was impressed!!! Normally verde Pasole is my go-to, BUT this Rojo Pasole (soup of the day) recipe was on point.  The meat was cooked perfect with just enough hominey.  The added lemon juice and delicious broth complimented the spices perfectly.  Wings are to die for.  Flavorful and moist. Made to order Mac & Cheese was phenomenal especially with the smoked meats.  Fries were crisp and tasty.  Desert special was a Smore Creation: sweet and smoky concoction of rich vanilla ice cream infused with real Applewood smoke, chocolate, roasted marshmallows, graham cracker and Caramel-like toffee bits.  It was so good.  Like a campfire in my mouth but in a good way especially with no sand or dirt from being outside next to a fire.  We will definitely be back.  Establishment is very clean and decor is perfect.   Staff are friendly and attentive. This place is a good happy hour place with a good beer selection which ha a happy hour price but I'm not really sure what the times are for happy hour.  The menu has lots of variety and does cater to vegans.  The sunflower salad is what I ordered and shared a Sancho burger with my girlfriend. Would've gotten a 5 but you need to improve the first impression experience. No greeting, no acknowledging after being seated, several walk-bys from the hostess and bussers and NO acknowledgment. Rude! Finally customer has to get up to be acknowledged. Finally order some apps and drinks and had to get up again for flatware and napkins. Yikes! Then came ERIN. A M A Z I N G! Had dinner here tonight with the GF.  We live walking distance to BKAH and have been there many times since it open a year or so ago.  Good things:  Food quality and service are great.  Really, food is gourmet and service is excellent.  Issues today:  GF wanted a taste of wine to see if she wanted to get the entire glass.  Answer NO.  If she wanted a taste would have to pay $3.  Come on [I ended up paying $100 including tip for dinner so it wasn't like we wouldn't pay it's the principle].  I wanted Pliny the Elder - Sold Out.  GF wanted a dessert.  Out of it.  Another dessert.  Out of it.  Fine, how about some coffee.  No, no coffee either.  Of course all these things are on the menu.  So, figure your system out.  If you have no coffee, don't put it on the menu.  If you don't have desserts.  Don't put it on the menu.  You've been open for a little while, and you're small enough to know what to do, so time to kick it up to the next level of professionalism.  Thanks.  We will return. The food here is outstanding every time I come here.  The kids love the mac and cheese.  I love the spare rib lasagna!  So good!  Services is friendly, attentive and prompt.  My glass is never empty.  Which is great because the beer and wine selection are always evolving an changing.  So glad this place is so close to our neighborhood.   Also, if you like a little heat, try The Sancho burger with a nice IPA.  You will not regret it!
