While I love the food last time I was there with a large group things happened that did not impress me. A few of the group smoked and they would go outside to smoke. While they were out the last time it was decided that smoke was coming into the building so they went out and sprayed air freshener in the door area. This can off as a reprimand for the ladies. I went to the bar and discussed it with who I thought was the manager and she told me yes she told the host to spray. Later I see the manager telling the chef and the young lady and they are laughing about it as they look right at our table. We have been to Brent’s several times as a group, heck my son proposed there but this really put a bad taste in my mouth. They have a sign tell customers to be nice to the staff but the staff doesn’t have to be nice to the customers? More...

We were sat at a table waiting to be served. Never was greeted or who was our waitress?? One came to us at all not even for drinks! !! It was our first time trying and I don’t we will go back either. We were told it would be a 15 minute wait. We wait 20 minutes. In the meantime, two tables left and were cleaned; however, hostess placed a reservation sign on both tables! She never said anything to us. She sat down and visited with another employee. You don’t treat walk-in customers (who waited patiently for 20 minutes) like that! Needless to say, we walked out. Tried to go today at lunch, but was told since we didn't have a reservation it would be close to a two hour wait. The restaurant was half empty and 2 hours would have been right at closing time. We love Brent’s for lunch, dinner, and brunch. The food is locally sourced, creatively and expertly crafted, approachable and yet unique all at reasonable prices. We also recently had a corporate Christmas party at Brent’s. They closed the restaurant for our private event. The service and menu were perfect to allow us to celebrate and enjoy. Better service the waitress seem to not know how to handle more than one table at a time service is very slow but the food is excellent had the smoother burrito with green chili my husband had the king special both item exceeded our expectations

The bloody Mary tasted like nothing but garlic and tomato juice. It's wasn't to bad w a bite of the olive, but just the drink alone was awful! The food tasted good but was not even hot.
