I was really bummed that I didn't get to try the famous "Soul Cupcakes" because I got there too early, but I got a six-pack of cupcakes and they were absolutely delicious! The cupcakes are made from a more mealy, cornbread-y type of cake, not your standard spongy Safeway Bakery cakes. All the buttercream flavors that Bree comes up with are so creative and always delicious (my personal favorite was the cinnamon buttercream on the churro cupcake!). I'm moving to LA in 11 months, and I'm not saying that I'm moving there just so I can come to Bree's Cakes more frequently, but I'm also not not moving there just so I can come to Bree's Cakes more frequently. I recently seen one of Bree Miller's creative cakes here on Facebook and my first thouht was wth is this a beautiful white woman smiling holding a cake with fried chicken on top of it and I said thishas to be a joke so I began reading users comments some funny some on point so as I thought about it I glace back at the picture even harder n longer I laughed and said that's a mashed potatoe cornbread and gravy chicken cake I'd love to eat this n even try to make it myself but I must say this to the maker Bree Miller you're a genius of food cake and I want to try your cake as well challenge you with something of my own this is it foods we love to eat into cakes lol a wonderful ideal for kids who favor sweets n junkfood over real food n who dont like to eat their dinner I want to order two cakes like the rapper Game did thanks Bree for letting me discover you and ur wonderful cakes very impressive keep up the good work

Cannot sing high enough praises about this bakery!! The desserts were beyond delicious, she has completely mastered the art of savory treats with the soul cupcakes, and her whole family really contributes to the warm welcoming feeling you get when you step foot inside! Love, love, love this bakery! Such cute interior design! Staff is nice, friendly and helpful! Cupcakes had around six options, plus multiple cookie, cake pops and brownie flavors! And Brees specialties like Soul Cupcakes!! (Highly recommend but only there on Saturdays and sundays) plus her refreshing banana pudding! Bree made my wedding cake and around 300 cupcakes for our guests and everyone ranted and raved about how good they were. She’s also done a dessert table for my baby shower and all of the treats were delectable and so unique!
