Brass Kitchen

Brass Kitchen knows food. Their food has that something extra that takes it over the top. I hired them for an event last evening and I was so pleased I did. They are great to work with. They are punctual, clean, and professional. They served lots of food in the pouring rain and I have never had as many compliments on the food as I did last evening, I would not hesitate to call  them again for any event. Honestly if I ever see them anywhere out I will be the first in line! I dreamed of those cilantro fries last night...and extraordinary bite! More...

Kinda pricey but definitely worth it. They had a food truck in capital park Detroit. I ordered for myself and my coworkers. I had the cubano with a side of brussel sprouts. Holy heck, GET THE SPROUTS. They're fried (I think) and are tossed in honey, lime, cilantro. Perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. The cilantro is a refreshing touch, so they're not too "heavy" after being fried.I think their names were Mickey and Jason? Very hospitable cooks.I wish they had a Detroit location. More...

I have gotten a Cuban every time I could from them! Po boy was awesome too. I hope they continue to go to the Gibraltar farm market. There was a pastrami sandwich at the Wyandotte festival and that was delicious also. Haven't had a thing I didn't like from them! More...

Wow! Got to check out this new food truck at the Wyandotte Farmer's market, and so glad I did!! I ordered a bratwurst for the kids, and Brussels sprouts for me, and also got to try a Steak Torta sandwich. The amount of flavor that he creates in that little truck is amazing. The Brussels sprouts were perfect - crispy and meaty, the sweet juicy glaze beautifully complimented the natural bitterness of the spouts. Perfectly seasoned, and great portion size. The sandwich was SO GOOD. I couldn't believe it, as I'm not normally an avocado fan, but it was delicious. Great texture contrasts, nice heat to the very well-seasoned meat, fresh tomato, great bread to filling ratio. Delicious. And the beat was great too! We loved everything! Also, service was fantastic and friendly. Pretty quick turn around time for a food truck too! They were making everything to order, so I was very impressed with his efficiency!
