We checked out this escape room while on a business trip to Reno. I have done a few escape rooms back home and up in Oregon and the two we did here (The Legacy and The Secrets of The Master) were ridiculously fun and challenging.
My business partner and I escaped the first room with about four minutes left on the clock! It was intriguing, challenging, and the background ambiance of the room made the experience an absolute thrill!
The next room we did was with our new business partners. The best part is this was our first time meeting in person! We escaped with two minutes left on the clock. Needless to say we feel that the four of us are going to work well together in our new endeavor!
The best part about the escape rooms we did was that they are big and spacious! I don't want to give anything away but if you are used to tiny escape rooms and wish they were bigger then you need to go to Brainy Actz Escape Rooms!!!

This was my first ever escape room. To be honest I was a little skeptical because of the location, I guess I just expected a huge warehouse type of location; shame on me for judging a book by its cover. I had a blast and I am officially hooked. I can not wait to do my next escape room. We had such a fun time! We visited the Temecula location. Our group had all ages, including my 3 kids 6, 13, and 16 who all had a blast and were able to help and contribute! ! Amanda was our hostess with the mostess, and she was super sweet and energetic! This was our first escape room and all 8 of us are addicted and can't wait to try our next one! Highly reccomend! So much fun!! Did the carnival escape game and was surprised by how fun and interactive it was! Difficult enough to be a challenge for adult groups but not so much so that families with kids couldn't go and have a blast. Gaelin was our host and was fabulous. The staff is amazing and the room is the perfect balance of challenging but possible to solve. The aesthetics are exceptional. Would definitely recommend minimum of 4 in each rooms and no more than 6 or 8 for the jungle room. Pirate room was more challenging. We will definitely be back. More...

We had done our first room escape earlier that day and just had to try out another. This place was great! We over complicated things for ourselves a few times and got stuck, but the staff was wonderful and helped out a lot! The waiting lobby has practice locks which was great because they had several types of locks I had never used before and by the time we went in I was comfortable with them. These guys go all out in their rooms! The final reveal in each of them is always super fun, and very well thought out. The clues aren't super easy, which makes them even better because you actually have to think creatively a lot of the time. Definitely recommend, especially for groups of 3 or more! A very thematic experience. They should definitely invest in better walkie talkies. We wasted a lot of time just asking for clarification on what was said.
I liked most of the puzzles. I do feel there were a few aspects that could be clearer with some of the puzzles. Brainy Actz, PM me if you want. I don't want to post any spoilers.
I'd give this company another shot, but my experience ranks lower than other escape rooms. I bought on Groupon, so if I had paid full price I would have lowered this to a 3.

Four of us "older" Seniors tried The Great Escape Pirate Room for my birthday (I'm 73), at Brainy Actz in Temecula. Our Host, Vince Moreno, made us feel super comfortable, and was great in explaining the various locks, etc. What an awesome challenge for us, and soooooooo much fun !! We never would have made the time limit, if he hadn't given us a bunch of clues ! All in all, it was a great fun experience, and we can't wait to go back again !! More...

Had a birthday party there for my 14 year old daughter. They did the car heist and everyone had so much fun! Loved that the party room had games for everyone to play. The staff was very friendly and great service. One small complaint is that they could use a cleaning service. You can tell a bunch of younger guys run the place. The counters were all very dusty and dirty and the sink was dirty and the trash cans were dirty. But it wasn't terrible. I did clean up a bit before setting up for my party though.
