went to Bear Grillz about a month ago and loved the venue! very big open floor and huge bar! security guys are also very nice! we had VIP and the VIP area isn't huge but it's big enough to have plenty of room and be comfortable. My husband had purchased tickets for Kingdom Come Oct.14th for his brother & niece.. "printing" the tickets was the only option offered. . all 3 tickets had my husband's name on them & he was not attending the show. I phoned Ken Rollins who could not have been more helpful.. he assured us that there would not be a problem. KUDOS TO YOUR STAFF!! BOC last night, my son Kev (who is a wheelchair user) got to meet the band members one by one (we stalked them. ..he he!). He was given 2 guitar picks, a drumstick, a poster and got 2 albums autographed. One of our best concert experiences ever! The wonderful folks at the Bourbon Hall went above and beyond to accommodate us, 5 star service, we'll be back!! Derby eve was my first visit to Bourbon hall. Myself and my friends had a wonderful time. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Prices weren't outrageous. The music was fantastic. Liked all the band's but love Thunderstruck. Hit the hall up again Wednesday night for another great night of fun and music. Many shows already on the schedule I want to see. I have a soft spot for this place because of previous memories. So im very excited to see what the future holds and to make new memories. Kudos. More...

Good afternoon to all derby city residents and out of town visitor's.im sitting here in the middle of the new live music venue louisville kys very own bourbon hall. and i have only one word to describe the way i feel emotional and i come to the conclusion that the reason why is im reflecting on a period of time in my life were live music in the louisville area was practically on every other corner ok now let me say a few things that might spark your emotions too toy tiger, hartwood tavern, jim porters, coyotes. Caddys.you see i was born and raised and have lived in the derby city all my life... And the above places i mentioned are all gone.. My whole point is i thought they were gone forever.. But sitting here in the middle of louisvilles new bourbon hall im looking around and i must tell all of my lou peeps and lifelong friends.. And the derby visitors this place is dressed to the nines.. And the fine people who are responsible for the opening of this venue on behalf of myself and this community we all call home. Thank you!!! Thunderstruck americas AC DC TRIBUTE WILL BE LIVE ON STAGE TONITE!!!
