I’m so glad we decided to try this place! Absolutely amazing homemade Mediterranean dishes and really sweet people. This is my favorite type of food, and it’s hard to find places that feel like you’re eating in someone’s home. But this food had fantastic flavor, generous portions, and delicious seasoning. We ordered the fattoush salad, Boro chicken bowl (with cucumber yogurt sauce), the regular hummus/pita, beef kabob wrap, kids’ chicken kabob meal, and the baklava. The BEST family owned non-chain restaurant there is. Service was phenomenal and very accommodating, there were 4 of us and two family member were elderly. Rather than make us go up and order, they came to us with menus took our order and brought it us. All with a smile even though they had to do extra work. I pulled over to write this review. I have wanted to stop by and try this place since I heard about the opening, but I'm just not in town very much right now. I needed some food on the go today, and called for a pickup order. I can only comment on two of my favorite things in the world: stuffed grape leaves and falafel, as that's what I ordered. Appetizer portions of both. That's enough for me to pull over and tell you that they are exceptional. The grape leaves are warm and spicy and oily and not boring in the slightest, and the falafel is light and perfectly cooked and has a nice addition of sesame that just really works. I would recommend that you give this place a try. There was nothing wrong with the food or the service but we didn’t come away as super thrilled as some of the others that have reviewed the place. Granted, we’re new to this area and we would frequent some really great Mediterranean places back in Houston. So perhaps our expectations were a bit too high. The staff were great and very friendly. 🥙 The honey and I got away for a date night and we couldn't wait to try the brand new Boro Kabob in downtown Murfreesboro! 😋 They have breakfast with Turkish coffee, kabobs, pita wraps, a big selection of specialty desserts, and YES - they even have a Kids Menu! We ate dinner here: stuffed grape leaves, mixed kabobs, baklava. All really tasty, good quality. It’s obvious that everything is homemade — the baklava is loaded with pistachios instead of walnuts, which I love. We’ll be back!
