I was looking for an account since I have been doing my own taxes and had a few questions. After a brief search, I found Books in Balance on yelp. I checked their website and saw that they offer one hour free consultation, so I emailed them and Brandon responded the following day. Â I had my free one hour consultation on Saturday the same week and I didn't even have to take time off from work. Â Brandon was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and briefly reviewed my last year tax return. He told me that my tax return looks correct and I should not need his services unless I want to spend extra money . So I got all my questions answered and got my peace of mind for free. I was so pleasantly surprised to stumble across Brandon and his business. I won a gift certificate in a raffle and just happened to need some accounting help. What do you love most about your job?

What inspired you to start your own business?
That's a good question. Actually, the truth of the matter is that is fell into place. After graduating with an Accounting and Business major, I ended up helping out the family run business, doing the books. That turned into other people asking me to do their books, that turned into taxes (so I got licensed) and here I am today.
