My husband and I found Brandon on Yelp. He provided us tax advice before the end of 2017 that helped so much with our 2018 taxes. His office manager (aka dog CB) charmed us at our first meeting to drop off paperwork. He charged less than our tax preparer the previous year and we were relieved that he smoothly handled everything. We already received our refunds. We give Brandon an A+! More...

I was looking for an account since I have been doing my own taxes and had a few questions. After a brief search, I found Books in Balance on yelp. I checked their website and saw that they offer one hour free consultation, so I emailed them and Brandon responded the following day.  I had my free one hour consultation on Saturday the same week and I didn't even have to take time off from work.  Brandon was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and briefly reviewed my last year tax return. He told me that my tax return looks correct and I should not need his services unless I want to spend extra money . So I got all my questions answered and got my peace of mind for free. And they even validate the parking ticket. You can't get any better deal than that. I definitely recommend Books in Advance. They are the best! More...

I was so pleasantly surprised to stumble across Brandon and his business. I won a gift certificate in a raffle and just happened to need some accounting help. Brandon was so attentive, personable, sharp and overall, I received such a warm, welcoming vibe. He is honest and sincere and is not out to gouge anyone. His prices are reasonable and he just is so willing to help and find the best solutions for your business and/or taxes. He really knows his stuff. I will definitely be using him again in the future.
