What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Getting the lighting just right, giving full attention to subject and composition and making more edits with the camera than in post-production
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
It depends on the project. Of course the client's timeline is important, but it's also important to make sure to give the client what they want and need: What is the final outcome you would like to see? For what purpose are the photographs needed?
What do you love most about your job?
First and foremost I love the art I photograph. I love discovering new challenges and the freedom of working for myself.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had been working freelance jobs in concert with my day job forever. I reached a point where I decided I liked the excitement and energy of meeting new people and working with small companies, galleries and collectors more than the 9-to-5 work.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm good at this and I like it. My clients' satisfactory is my first priority. I'm flexible, efficient and nimble. Client privacy and discretion is paramount. Most of my clients are confidential and I am happy to sign an NDA if needed. My quoted fees are all inclusive and there is nothing hidden. I don't take a job if I don't think I can make the client happy.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I can do the post-production work remotely and share images online, but i have to be in the same room with a subject or object in order to photograph them or it.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I will wear a mask if preferred, I wash my hands regularly and I do not work if I feel unwell. I am not a medical professional, so there is not much else I can do.
