Visited Bond Street Basement last weekend. Home to the hottest bartender in town Kayla working satellite bar! My experience could not have been better. I got a white claw chilled to the most refreshing of temperatures followed by the most accurately poured shot of Patron shot I've ever thrown back. And if that's not enough Kayla provided me with a perfectly sized lime wedge to follow my Tequila shot all done with a beautiful smile and tons of energy. Drinks were reasonably priced and definitely worth the experience. I will definitely be going back to visit in the coming weeks! More...

Love this bar. It's a dive bar. Don't expect anything with frills. It's not a classy place to take your date. But it's inexpensive bar food and drinks. Great music in the basement. So much fun. People are great. Great vibe. Fun as hell. Go here. More...

Man, this place was the cooooooolest back a few years ago - 3 levels to it, stay tuned in. The upstairs dive bar is a tiny, hardcore, punky/hipster scene. (Were there enough adjectives for ya?) Outdoor area for smokers with street art on walls. Bouncers and bartenders are exceptionally rude, but kind of matches the persona of the place. Really fair prices, cash only. Burgers are huge and mighty flavorful - had the luau with pineapple and teriyaki sauce (highly recommend the sweet & salty combo). Secret middle bar through side doors with finer dining, and then downstairs to the basement for the real shenanigans! Used to be more of a hidden gem with down to earth people and ping pong tables, etc. Though now, the secret is out! People from all walks of life, but mainly ex frat-bro style with a DJ & dance floor. Still fun for the awkward mid-20s age where you're too old for college spots but too young for other vibes down the shore. Nice mix of music from 80s pop to Drake. The 3 levels really cater to different people, so take your pick! One of the best hangs in Asbury as far as I'm concerned. More...

Bond Street Bar & Grill is a really cool dive bar that seems to have predated many of the more modern establishments right nearby.  However, it still definitely fits in and provides a nice complement to the bar scene in Asbury.  They have plenty of different types of beer on tap, including old favorites and also local Monmouth County beers.  We didn't order food.  The bartenders were all really cool and efficient.  The crowd was a lot of fun, too, but it did get loud. Awesome little bar! Great drink deals, yummy food and one of the nicest bartenders-Jess! We found this place in a short trip to Asbury Park and went back every day we were there.  Their chicken wings are perfect as are their fries and hamburgers. Highly recommend going if in the area. There is a little outdoor space where you can drink or eat. A few TVs inside for game watching.  Their backdoor leads to two other bars. Have fun! More...

When we first entered Bond Street, it seemed dark and small. Then we settled in, and ordered a tasty beverage. We quickly learned that they have a tasty food menu, but were full from lunch and didn't plan on staying. Before we knew it, we were still there an hour later conversing with locals, enjoying sports on TV, ordering chicken wings, and trading drink rounds with one of the guys we met. Awesome time! Great wings. Went back two more times during our 3 day stay. More...

What a great place in an awesome neighborhood. The prices are on point, the vibe is there and awesome, and I can't fail to mention the french fries. Or, LouFries. The cook has heart, soul, humor, and makes an amazing french fry. Not the easiest thing to do but he does it. They should never let this cook out of the kitchen and keep him part of the family for a long time. More...

My favorite dive bar in Asbury Park. Mason jars of beer are always the best kinds of beer. Friendly bartenders, great line up of taps & cans, no frills. Strong mix of national brands and local breweries. I have been here many times, but never tried the food. I hear only good things though - especially the fries and grilled cheese.  Great music too, if not a bit loud sometimes. More...

As other reviewers have said, Bond Street is an awesome, no frills dive bar. The bartender was not rude at all, even when we ordered Fireball shots because we didn't realize what GFY stood for. .. our mistake. He also fixed my earring when the back broke! Thank you for that sir...But I'm not here to talk about any of that. I'm here to talk about a grilled cheese sandwich. A grilled cheese so magical that I have literally been thinking about it for days. The broccoli cheddar bite grilled cheese was a special menu item, and special it was. We ordered two after watching the dude next to us devour his and it's easily the best thing I've purchased for myself in a long time. Self care at its finest. It was perfectly grilled and the bread to cheese to broccoli cheddar bite ratio was just right. It was deliciously salty and had a spicy dipping sauce that I could've drank on its own. Best of all it ONLY COST $5. I'm drooling writing this review. So while the atmosphere and bartenders are great, the grilled cheese is the main reason I'll be back. More...

Very divey, no frills bar downstairs. Watch your step, because it's dark and I tripped a bit down the stairs! Mixed drinks are pretty large, though I'm not a huge fan of the plastic disposable cups. I can't believe I forgot my old Yelp password because I know I've written an amazing review about this place. Like I LOVE this place, the old spot especially, but also the newer expanded portion too. The original, is definitely a dive bar, small with plenty of different characters. You can tell who's a local and who is not but it's all good. The cheap drinks (Yas Tijuana taxi) and food (sweet potato tater tots!) are why   I looove this place and the bouncers are never aholes. They have the formula down which is why they've been around so long. The newer expanded spot looks great, food was good too. Completely different vibes in all the places, but they all connect via back stairways which is cool. I always end up back at bond Street, but the middle business (not sure what it's called, loteria?) usually has a nice crowd around the games and community tables. Even though I've moved, I always make a point to come back during the summer. It can't be be replaced for me. More...

I'm so glad we found this place!  My husband and I had a kid-free hour so we went looking for a burger. It was tough to find a burger joint among the pizza shops and Italian restaurants but Bond Street came up in a Yelp search and we decided to give it a shot.    Bond Street has that typical dive bar feel.  It was dark with a few regulars and rock and roll blasting. The patio seemed lively on the way in but we sat at the bar.  The bartender was straightforward and efficient.  No small talk which I'm fine with, especially coming from the South where you can't stand in line at the post office without getting someone's life story. I ordered a gin well worth the price and the food was dirt cheap!  I think the burgers started at $5!  My BS burger (or maybe it was no BS, can't remember) was delicious!  My only complaint is that it definitely wasn't cooked "medium" but it was still juicy so I wasn't bothered.  The mayo had a nice kick to it too!  The onion rings were standard good but I was partial to the shoestring fries. Everything was served hot which often doesn't happen when fries and o-rings are involved.  Our bill was $33 for 2 specialty burgers, a  good sized liquor drink, a basket of fries and a basket of onion rings!  A steal!! Great for what it is. Don't come expecting a lavish meal, do come expecting a great dive bar experience. Relatively loud, quality rock music sets the background for what is the quintessential dive bar. Owner behind the bar shootin' the s*** with the patrons, conversing about the music overhead. Decent beer selection, 6+ options for bottled and tap. Was there during the day so can't comment on hard alcohol selection. Jalapeño grilled cheese was utter perfection, though my wife said her plain burger left a little to be desired. Overall, a good experience. More...

We noticed Bond Street Bar and Grill because it sits right across At the Table Restaurant where we dined recently in Asbury Park.  This place at the time was packed and it peeked our curiosity so we decided to give it a try this time!  Well; we walked in and there are no free sits to be seen!!! Hum!! The place needs a few more seating choices besides bar stools and one picnic style table by the entrance; perhaps side walk seating?  Nerveless we waited and are glad we did!!!  After a short wait, 10 to 15 minutes we sat at the bar.  The menu here offers mainly bar staples such as burgers and sandwiches and the expected sides, onion rings and fries; let us not forget copious beer selections!  To be noted they also offer veggie burgers and veggie salad for those health oriented individuals...  There were a few burger choices and after thoughtful consideration my husband chose the Big Kahuna Burger while I decided for the BS Burger; we shared one order of onion rings.  Both burgers although not quite cooked to our specific temperature were fresh, moist and tasty!!!  Their individual dressings gave them an exceptional taste that pushed them to our list for best Burgers in NJ!!  The size, quality and exceptional taste make these burgers a must try and re-try kind of place!!!! The onion rings were breaded with what I detected was a beer batter?  Delish!!! Did I mention that all choices on menu are dirt cheap  Hurray for another great find!!! More...
