About

I want to Stop Destroying my life and family, but I just Don't Know How!

I said those words to myself in the past!

One beautiful spring Saturday, I was supposed to take my daughter to her softball game. I never made it to that or any game from that day forward.

LIFE FORGE! (Signature Keynote Address)

I share my story of how I ruined my life, family, and career because of addiction. Then I take my audience on my journey to find answers to recovery and success. I show them the steps that I took and that they too can use to forge an extraordinary life for themselves and their family.

Perhaps they do not suffer from addiction, but it is very likely that they know someone who does. Also, the audience does not need to be an addict to benefit from the process I teach. Many of the steps can be used to create a higher level of success!

Life and success coaching is a form of personal development and guidance that aims to help individuals identify and achieve their goals, enhance their overall satisfaction with life, and unlock their full potential. Coaches work with clients to explore their aspirations, overcome challenges, and create a path toward personal and professional success. This type of coaching is based on the belief that individuals have the capacity to make positive changes in their lives with the right support and guidance.

Key features of life and success coaching include:
Goal Setting: Coaches assist clients in clarifying and defining their goals, both short-term and long-term. This process involves exploring the client's values, aspirations, and priorities to create a roadmap for personal and professional development. I will help you set achievable goals, eliminate negative emotions, eliminate limiting decisions, collapse negative anchors, and motivate you to walk the path to continual improvement.

Action Planning: Once goals are established, coaches help clients break them down into manageable, actionable steps. They provide support in creating a realistic and achievable plan, fostering a sense of empowerment and progress that will create the momentum that will carry you across the finish line.

Accountability: Coaches serve as accountability partners, helping clients stay on track with their action plans. Regular check-ins and discussions ensure that clients are making consistent progress toward their goals.

Problem-Solving: Coaches assist clients in overcoming obstacles and challenges that may arise along their journey. By providing a fresh perspective and helping clients develop effective strategies, coaches empower individuals to navigate setbacks successfully.

Personal Development: Life and success coaching often involves a focus on personal growth and self-discovery. Coaches may help clients identify and leverage their strengths, address limiting beliefs, and develop new skills to enhance their overall well-being.

Communication and Listening: Coaches are skilled in active listening and effective communication. They create a supportive and non-judgmental space for clients to express themselves, fostering trust and openness.

Motivation and Inspiration: Coaches inspire and motivate clients by encouraging a positive mindset and highlighting achievements. They help clients stay focused on their goals, even when faced with challenges or setbacks.

Life and success coaching can cover various aspects of an individual's life.
- Career
- Family
- Relationships
- Personal Growth
- Health & Fitness
- Spirituality
Coaches may specialize in specific areas or take a holistic approach, addressing multiple facets of a person's life.

It's important to note that life and success coaching is distinct from therapy. Coaches typically focus on the present and future, helping clients create actionable plans and achieve specific outcomes. While therapy may delve into past experiences and emotional healing, coaching is forward-looking and goal-oriented. Working with a coach can provide individuals with valuable tools, insights, and support to enhance their personal and professional lives.

Any kind of coaching requires a longer-term relationship. You will need time to remove years of poor habits and to replace them with highly productive habits - ones that you can benefit from for the rest of your life! However, you will likely begin to realize benefits quickly and those benefits will increase with each new step in the process.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a psychological approach that explores the connection between neurological processes, language, and behavioral patterns that have been learned through experience. Developed in the 1970s, NLP is founded on the premise that there is a link between neurological functions, language, and behavioral patterns that have been learned through experience and can be organized to achieve specific goals in life.

The term "neuro" refers to the neurological system, "linguistic" relates to language, and "programming" denotes the learned behavioral patterns. NLP posits that by understanding and altering these patterns, individuals can achieve personal development and communication excellence. The core principles of NLP include:
Subjective Experience: NLP emphasizes the idea that people experience the world subjectively. Our perception of events is influenced by our unique mental filters, beliefs, and experiences.
Map and Territory: NLP draws on the metaphor that our mental maps of reality (beliefs, perceptions) are not the same as the objective reality (territory). NLP aims to improve one's map to better navigate the territory of life.
Rapport: Building rapport, or a positive connection, is considered crucial in NLP. Effective communication is believed to be enhanced when individuals establish a harmonious relationship and connection with others.
Modeling: NLP suggests that excellence can be modeled and learned by observing and replicating the behaviors and thought processes of successful individuals. By understanding the strategies of successful people, others can adopt similar patterns for personal development.
Anchoring: Anchoring involves associating a particular state of mind or emotion with a specific stimulus, creating a link between the two. This technique is used to help individuals access desired mental states more easily.
Reframing: NLP encourages individuals to reframe or reinterpret their perceptions of events. By changing the way an experience is mentally framed, individuals can alter their emotional responses and behaviors.
NLP has been applied in various fields, including therapy, business, education, and personal development. While some practitioners and enthusiasts assert its effectiveness in improving communication, managing emotions, and achieving personal goals.

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach that utilizes hypnosis to induce a state of focused attention, heightened suggestibility, and deep relaxation in individuals. This altered state of consciousness, often referred to as a trance, is used by hypnotherapists to help clients explore and address a variety of issues, including psychological, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

In a typical hypnotherapy session:
Induction: The therapist guides the client into a state of relaxation, often through deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, or guided imagery. This initial phase is designed to calm the mind and promote a receptive state.
Trance State: Once in a trance state, the individual becomes more open to suggestion and is better able to access their subconscious mind. This is where memories, emotions, and thought patterns may be explored and addressed.
Suggestion: The hypnotherapist may offer suggestions aimed at helping the client change certain behaviors, thoughts, or feelings. These suggestions are tailored to address specific issues, such as smoking cessation, weight loss, stress reduction, or overcoming phobias.
Exploration: In some cases, hypnotherapy involves exploring past experiences or memories that may be influencing current challenges. This exploration is conducted with the goal of gaining insight, resolving emotional issues, or reframing negative beliefs.
Post-Hypnotic Suggestions: The therapist may provide post-hypnotic suggestions, which are intended to influence the individual's behavior or mindset after the session has ended. For example, suggesting increased confidence, improved sleep, or reduced anxiety.
It's important to note that during hypnosis, individuals remain in control, and they cannot be made to do anything against their will. Contrary to common misconceptions fueled by portrayals in media and entertainment, hypnosis is not a form of mind control. Instead, it is a collaborative process in which the individual actively participates.

Hypnotherapy is used for a wide range of issues, including managing stress, alleviating anxiety and phobias, improving sleep, and addressing certain health-related concerns. While some people respond well to hypnotherapy, its effectiveness can vary from person to person. As with any therapeutic approach, individual results may depend on factors such as the client's willingness to engage in the process and the skill of the hypnotherapist. Additionally, hypnotherapy is typically conducted by trained and certified professionals.
