No scam...you have to do the work-that simple! If you're reading this review, STOP...get in your car..and go to Body Armor Fitness! Honestly, I wouldn't have passed my fitness test for the police department without Pete's help. He was phenomenal! Down to working with my schedule, being understanding when I really had to cancel, changing the workouts, upping the weights/intensity of workouts as needed, letting me try out a kettle bell group class to get familiar with the form before I started training, letting me use the treadmill when I couldn't train in the rain at home, and cheering me on when I doubted myself.I cannot wait until my back surgery heals so I can get back in here. I was so bummed being diagnosed with genetic/work related back issues, because in the time I trained here I not only saw results, got realistic advise, noticed a significant difference in my strength, mood, energy, concentration, and so much more. For reference, I have trained with 3 other personal trainers and kick boxed and this is the best experience I've ever had.And even better, I didn't even get to try out all the classes and meet with the other trainers/instructors. If that's what I get with just one part of training you bet I'll be trying the others. I look forward to the boxing and maybe even cycling. The Kettlebell literally SAVED MY LIFE!
On 1/17/17 I was assaulted in my apartment and FENDED OFF my 300 lb. attacker (cracked him in both his knees) and CHASED HIM OUT with it between my shoulder blades ready for a headshot if he didn't VACATE IMMEDIATELY.
I LITERALLY OWE my Life to the 15 lb. Kettlebell!

I lost my left foot in 2014 and was shopping personal trainers because a gym just wasn't working with crutches at the time.
I found them all to be pretty close in price but 1 HUGE difference. Body Armour was 1 hour and the rest where 30 min!!! Pete's knowledge is unparrell to anyone else! Kettlebells are a complete body workout and yes you will be pushed but what dont kill you only makes you stronger!
Pete is a retired Providence firefighter and also does police and firefighter physical certification trainings!! Whether it's spin class, group classes, or 1 on 1 Body Armour does it all! Here it is 2018 & Im still here! Give em a call and do your body a favor! #BodyArmour #BodyTransformation

Someone wrote it was a scam... Not a scam at all!!!! You have to actually WORK OUT... That's why they call it a work out. What you put in you get out !!! This gym and people are full of motivation and great enthusiasm. It's a very comfortable setting. Jessica is a great instructor!!! I know from my own experience as an instructor for 23 years..I absolutely love her!!!! I so look forward to going to class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Love this place! Prices are cheap and extremely reasonable for what you get out of the classes! I especially love Amal's cycling class on Wednesday nights. She gives great instruction, and helps you to achieve your fitness goals no matter what level you are at. I would recommend this class from cycling beginners through advanced levels! More...

I used to live at the gym. For a good year I went four to five days a week doing weights and cardio. I saw more results after going to body armour for a couple of months than I ever had after all that gym time. I've never had a better workout than the kettlebell classes they offer. There is a variety of kettlebells from light weights to heavy so anyone can do it. Don't be afraid! Â All the instructors are so nice and supportive. Love it here at Body Armour Fitness! The BEST workout to get into shape. You will want to give up your gym membership because what you do in one hour with Peter will be like doing 2 hours at the gym. Why waste your time walking in place anyway My booty has not looked better btw! One would think that there would only be guys that work out there but women actually make up most of the clientele. Come on men... ya scared to do a real workout? Peter knows his stuff. He went the extra mile and did his Level II training. Pricing for the workout is actually very inexpensive in comparison to others who aren't as qualified. Here's an idea... Bring some friends or family members for a personal training session and work out together! It's better than spending an hour watching tv or going out to eat together. More...
