Willian is absolutely FANTASTIC. I’ve been working with him for nine months and never thought I’d be where I am today.
Before Willian, I had been rear ended at a red light and was constantly going to the orthopedist, needing massage therapy, and would get muscle spasms that prevented me from exercising. I would also get constant tension headaches.
When I started working with Willian, he took the time really assess my capabilities and movements that were limited or would trigger muscle spasms. We worked on mobility and stretching, and eventually moved on to core exercises and strength conditioning. He has been patient, attentive, and customizes my workouts.
I can now do exercises I never thought I’d be able to without triggering muscle spasms, I’m sleeping better, and can give my daughter piggy-back rides without having to say “Daddy has a bad back.”
I’m incredibly grateful to Willian and Body Shop, and can’t wait to see what I’m capable of another year out!

I had never been to a gym or worked out much other than just being generally active and infrequently using a pull up bar at home.
I wanted to get in better shape for surfing but I needed guidance to learn proper form and technique while working out and most of all i needed some motivation.
Shirley is definitely the person for the job. Shes very attentive and fine tunes workouts based on personal goals and limits. Shes also a great motivator and is very easy to schedule with.
Im definitely hooked on these workouts I've learned and am now motivated to keep things up daily.
The gym is located in a quite neighborhood and is well kept with a great atmosphere.
Shirley and Will are awesome, kind people that really know their stuff.
No hesitations, I highly recommend.

They also do small groups and larger group classes as well.

I had Jeff as my trainer and he was super helpful. I really liked body shop fitness, they were very fixable with your schedule, and patient with beginners like myself. Friendly and welcoming, parking wasnt bad. Only struggle I had was being able to afford it, I wanted to workout often with them but it was breaking the bank so I had to cut back. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
By programing workouts that make sense for their fitness level, age, goals, needs, and lifestyle. By properly assessing their abilities and pushing them just a little bit more, session by session. By educating them about proper nutrition and a healthy habits. By determining together challenging, but achievable, goals and holding them accountable to the process.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
If there's any secret, we'd say it's consistency. Finding a balanced and enjoyable routine that makes sense for you, considering exercise, nutrition and recovery, that you'll be able to stick to for a long time.
What do you love most about your job?
That's easy. What we love the most is seeing our clients constantly getting better. Getting stronger, losing the weight they wanted to, improving their health markers, getting more flexible, living pain-free, being able to do things they couldn't do before, etc. It also fascinates us to see how exercise makes people better outside the gym, feeling better, motivated, energetic and better at their day-to-day activities.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Seeing how many lives we could positively affect just blew our mind. After seeing so many good results from our clients, and with their support, we decided to propagate more of this Body Shop energy and education.

Because they’ll know we are a highly educated and experienced team, that integrates the current best research evidence with professional practice to help our clients achieve their fitness goals. Furthermore, they’ll see that we use of the best practices and knowledge to create an indocvidualized training program for each client.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, we provide personal and couples training through video (Facetime, Whatsapp, Facebook, etc). Usually we use two cameras (phone plus notebook), so we can get better angles of what our clients are doing.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We follow the government guidelines regarding to wearing masks and social distance. We also wear masks whenever our clients prefer. And we disinfect all the equipment after using. Our space also allows us to train outdoors.
Personal training
One-on-one training at our North Park location, or we can algo go to your house and perform in home training. We bring all the necessary equipment.
Online training
Personal training sessions through video calls. 30, 45 and 60 minutes.
Small group training
Fitness classes for small groups (6 people max). Invite your friends and neighbors and get fit together, having fun at the same time.
