Body Glove's crew and Captain Rick were the best. We boarded on time, got our seats on the top deck and took off from Kailua Pier. We got to view the scenic coast to Captain Cook monument and kealakekua Bay.Along the way we got to listen to a narration by a local docent. Also live Hawaiian music in between narration. You get comped one mai tai after that they're on you. We stopped in the Kealakekua Bay to observe Captain Cooks monument and begin our dinner buffet. More food than you can imagine, see my big ass plate. The food was awesome! The bay can only be reached by a very arduous hike or by boat. No docking or touching land. The bay is known for being a playground for dolphins....we were not disappointed. If you are wondering if taking this dinner cruise is worth it or not, wonder no more and do it! The view along the coast from Kailua pier to Kealakekua Bay and back as you take in the sunset is amazing. There was narration and live Hawaiian music playing as we cruised. We braved the buffet line, in spite of all the cooties going around right now. The menu included Kailua pork, beef and chicken, veggies, rice, salads and cheesecake for dessert. A very good meal! Mai Tais were pretty good too!There were a few choppy moments, which made me glad that I wore my seasick bands. Overall it was an easy and fun ride. It got a bit chilly when the sun started to set. This is the second time my wife and I have done this tour with Body Glove. You always can gauge how fun something is going to be by the crew. They were awesome! So. Much. Fun! We did the dolphin watch and daytime snorkel trip. The Captain was hilarious and everyone on staff was so nice! The snorkeling spot was great and we had so much fun on the slide and diving off the boat. We would definitely recommend this trip and we will come back when we visit the Big Island again! More...

we just went on the am snorkel cruise. we had the time of our life. super fun cruise. we saw 2 different kinds of dolphins and plenty of fish while snorkeling. The breakfast and lunch was yummy. We have been on Body Glove a few times, but this was the first time my dad and I took my husband and son on this cruise. They had the most amazing time. The crew was helpful and attentive. What I loved the most is that had stuff to accommodate my 4 year old son. He was able to see underwater by using a boogie board that had a window in it. The spot they took us too was clear and had a ton of fish. The breakfast and lunch that was served was amazing! Burgers were being cooked right on the top desk. All I can say is, wow! Everything about this cruise was wonderful. From the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, to the music provided by Bula Akamu, to the historical presentation by a woman whose name I forgot to get - everything was top notch. And the food! Everything was delicious, from the appetizers (pu pu) to the wonderful dinner and dessert. Tropical drinks were awesome, too. But the Piece de Resistance was the sunset! I have never seen such a sunset in my life. There were too many clouds for the "green flash", but the sunset was absolutely fabulous. Most tours or excursions are really nice to go on once, but when we return to Kona we will definitely take this one again! If you were coming to Kailua Kona put this on your must do list! More...

If you want a great experience and really good food this is a must if visiting big island. The staff were knowledgeable and we were lucky enough to have spinner dolphins follow the boat at first then position themselves in front of the boat on trip to snorkel spot. The crew put a breakfast out and I assumed that was it for the day for food . When reaching our destination the spinners joined us at the cove . Then Lunch was served by the crew which was better than decent . There is a bar on board to purchase drinks. I would advise to take a few dramine about 2 hours before and tip the crew at the end.. I did find it odd the crew didn't ask for tips which I felt they were def worthy of receiving. More...

What a fantastic sunset dinner cruise! Super clean, modern boat and delicious dinner cruise. Price includes cocktail, appetizer buffet, dinner buffet and cheesecake. All you can eat. Dinner served in a beautiful, peaceful cove in front of the Captain Cook monument. Great scenery, rainbows, and live music. The historian, Boyd, talked about the history and culture. The crew were all so polite and attentive and fun. We danced all the way back to the harbor. I would do this cruise again and if I return to the big island I definitely will! More...

We had a fabulous sunset cruise on Thursday. John C was our captain. Jonah, Elliott and Chelsea the crew. As I am disabled, I needed help getting onboard. The crew went out of their way to help me. They are some of the most awesome individuals we've met. Boyd gave us a beautiful history of Kona and Shawn Kalima's tunes were fabulous. The crew couldn't do enough for me. We had so much fun on their boat, it wasn't a problem for small children or even the baby on board. The size of the boat makes it easy to cut through the waves and not feel every bump. The provided breakfast and lunch was a plus and the cheeseburgers were especially good. My hats off to the captain and very knowledgeable and trained crew. Once again my husband and I had an enjoyable trip with Captain John and crew! This is our do-not-miss snorkel cruise each time we visit Kona -- and that is every year! This time I saw an eagle ray along with all the usual fishies. And on the trip back to the dock someone spotted a small pod of dolphins that included some babies. I really appreciated the turn around and stop for a while so that everyone could get a good view of those beautiful citizens of the sea. Can hardly wait for next year. More...

We had a wonderful time on this tour! The crew was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and funny. It was very organized and I felt that they had safety at the top of their list. Since we had our kids with us this was extremely important. The tour starts off with a nice breakfast of baked goods, fruits and yogurt. They were even accommodating of my daughter's nut allergies which is so appreciated. I liked that they had plenty of life vests, noodles, even a floating yoga mat that you could lounge on in the water. We didn't see as many fish as we would have liked but not much they can do to control the ocean. the bbq and drinks were great and we all had a really fun time swimming and snorkeling. We went out on Friday and got turned around by a hurricane. Full refund was offered, we were able to reschedule. Went again on Sunday and had a great time. The cruise down along the seaside was spectacular. The captain pointed out cultural points of interest. Snorkeling was nice, my kid's definitely liked that more than me. We took the dinner cruise on 7/26 and we were not at all disappointed. The crew is first rate....friendly and helpful. The cruise has live narration about island history and geography on the way out, then you stay put in the bay for a short while while dinner is served. Dinner was very good with the pork, beef and chicken dishes. The crew was great in getting people to their seats with their plates intact. After dinner, the cruise returns with upbeat rockin' style tunes, with a glorious sunset over the horizon (of course, the sunset is not guaranteed - it could be cloudy).
