Tarah did great work on my wedding makeup & that of my bridal party, but honestly was a bit high strung. She brought stress into my special day. COVID understandably was part of my big day, but she was the only vendor that made a big deal about it. I reached out to Tarah because a friend of mine looked so naturally glamorous at her wedding that I wanted that same type of style at my wedding. From the first contact, Tarah was so helpful and provided me with tips on finding hair extensions, etc. Madison was my stylist for my big day. The trial was so perfectly what I envisioned and Madison and Tarah both made me feel so comfortable and special. On my wedding day, I threw Madison a couple of curveballs that she handled so well. From the moment I inquired, Tarah was punctual and professional. Everything was very straight forward, and she was so helpful! Tarah did my makeup for my engagement shoot, a trial for my wedding, and hair and makeup for my wedding as well as my maid of honors makeup. My engagement shoot was during the height of COVID and I was concerned about safety, but was happy to learn that Tarah did everything she could to take all of the right precautions while still making getting my makeup done a fun and comfortable experience. Tarah is so warm and right after meeting her you feel like you have been friends for years! Tarah and her team were absolutely fantastic and I cannot recommend them enough! I spent a lot of time with Tarah when we did my makeup preview. She was so personable and easy to talk to. She had lots of wedding and marriage advice, and made me feel at ease when it came to my pre-wedding jitters. Talking to her throughout the process honestly felt like talking to a friend. When I first did my preview, I wasn’t completely sure what I wanted to do for hair and makeup, but she had lots of insight and took the time to help me figure out a look that I loved and that went well with my dress. She was also extremely patient and flexible when I made several last minute changes to the invoice, even days before the wedding.

On the day of the wedding, she and her team were true professionals. They worked so well with me and all of my bridesmaids, and we were a pretty big group. They made sure we were on track and not feeling rushed to get to the venue in time. My girls absolutely loved their makeup, a lot of them had never had makeup professionally done before and were thrilled with how everything turned out.

One of the best things about Tarah was how attentive she was not just toward my makeup and hair, but toward my general well-being. She was constantly reminding me to eat and stay hydrated. I was so nervous I probably wouldn’t have had a bite to eat or a sip of water before the wedding if she hadn’t been so on top of it. It really was like having a friend be part of my big day. I found Tarah through a referral and I have to say, it's tough finding a hair/makeup vendor that you know your bridesmaids will be happy with too. Tarah did my hair and my bridesmaids makeup and Shadi did my bridesmaids makeup and mom's hair. Often times I've been to a wedding and the bride's makeup is spot on but the bridesmaids makeup is just ok. This was definitely not the case with Tarah - all my bridesmaids were very impressed with her and loved her work.

Tarah worked magic with my hair - I have short bob length hair and she used extensions that I brought (just needed 1 set) to create a low romantic bun. Everyone was shocked to see me with short hair at the after party (I had a daytime wedding) and thought that maybe I chopped off my hair after the wedding lolll. She also did my bridesmaids makeup and did a great job at creating a look that complemented my bridal makeup.

Shadi did everyone else's hair and she did such impressive looks on my bridesmaids - including an Elsa like braid, an elegant updo, and a dreamy half updo with braids.

Tarah is also very professional and easy to communicate with. I've definitely run into my fair share of vendors who were poor at communicating. Instead, Tarah was very transparent and detail-oriented. She definitely made my day go easier with our tight schedule. Thank you Tarah and Shadi!

Tarah did my hair and makeup for my July ’21 wedding and I could not have been more happy with the services provided.

I initially picked Tarah because she had such strong communication compared to some other vendors I was speaking with. She responded clearly, promptly, and in detail to all my questions - all the time. This proved to be super helpful going though this pandemic year+ as she kept reaching out with updates and in the hectic weeks leading up to the wedding, making sure we had our plan for the big day.

I booked Tarah before having a hair and makeup trial, which I was initially hesitant to do. However, she was able to answer all my questions about the trial thoroughly and I was satisfied to go ahead. On the day of the trial, we tried one look that didn’t quite work out at first, but Tarah worked with me and made adjustments until I was happy, carefully listening to every detail about what I liked or didn’t like, and taking note of it so we got it right on the big day.

On the wedding day, Tarah and team had such a fun but calm energy and were so easy to be around. Everything went smoothly and my whole party was happy with how their hair and makeup turned out. I highly recommend Tarah’s services to anyone looking for an excellent hair and makeup artist!

Tarah is extremely talented and one of the best makeup and hair artists I have ever worked with. We used her for both our engagement pictures and for our wedding day. She was able to manage our large (very picky) bridal party, with several different requested styles, and was extremely professional and easy to work with. She suggested hair and makeup styles that she thought would go well with my dress, and for our engagement session recommended a warm color palette which I never knew would complement my skin tone so well!
