The food that we had was good but it was not prepared as the menu described, the vegetables were not in the omelette, I got the wrong toast (rye not wheat) and we thought about saying something but the kitchen was so backed up that it would take too much time get it re-made. My husband and I are new to the area so we were interested in seeing what restaurants we liked. Upon entering Blue Rooster, you would never know that they are better than so many other popular mainstream breakfast places. You grab your menu, order, then take a seat. They make your food pretty fast. I ordered the chicken and waffles and one of their omelets. They were both delicious, as well as having coffee at the level of  Starbucks.  The service is friendly and welcoming, you will have a good time. The place is a little small, so it's better to come on a week day, but if you get there early enough on the weekend you'll be able to find a seat. More...

I used to enjoy going to this establishment but I shall not return until the ownership or management changes. Â This isn't the only incident but it's the last one. The employees working were very outgoing and friendly. There was one female employee that I wish would work with me. Her positive attitude and upbeat conversation skills were amazing. The environment was welcoming. Reminded me of a small town feel that welcomes anybody in. The menu was very easy to read. The food was delicious. No complaints. I thought I ordered shrimp and grits. I got a salmon fish, rice, collard greens, and bacon plate delivered to my table. I found heaven from how delicious the collard green with bacon was. I was shocked they were able to make that side.
