Our restaurant provides delicious smoked and grilled barbecue meats, homemade sides and desserts, and very hand-on service. We grew up in Tennessee, and have a long history of enjoying good barbecue. Being born and raised in Tennessee I can tell you that I love the food at Blue Rock BBQ. It has been so hard to find authentic southern food, especially bbq in CA. It's even harder to find hush puppies and the best baked beans I have found in CA anywhere. The best ribs you can find are the ones that you will need multiple paper towels while eating them. We're getting ready to move to the neighborhood where BRB is located.I took a break from the renovation work at our house around the corner and Yelped myself here. BABY BACK RIBS & PULLED PORK COMBO (4/5) The combo was over $20 but I have to say I was happy with the amount of meat that was on my plate. Didn't feel ripped off in the least. The pulled pork was mighty flavorful and the ribs were literally falling off the bone. The sauce had a nice balance of acid and sweet. My plate was clean. Now that I think of it, I think I ordered BRISKET but they made the mistake of giving me PULLED PORK which turned out to be a welcome error. Next time though I do want to try the BRISKET.MAC & CHEESE (5/5) and POTATO SALAD (2/5) The Mac & Cheese seemed like it was made with mixed sizes of penne pasta and had a white and orange cheese sauce mix which I like. I was trying to avoid carbs that week but I wanted to try it. I had a hard time resisting after a couple bites. The pasta was limp and overcooked but I kinda liked the trailer trash vibe if you'll pardon the expression. The Potato Salad was pretty ordinary to me, not my preference in terms of how I like my potato salad but that varies big-time from person to person. I'd order the Mac & Cheese again though.After I ordered, I got a bit of order remorse while scrolling through some Yelp pictures. I noticed theCUBAN SANDWICH which looked reeeaaaallly good with the pickles and the rest. I *will* be back for that.I left happy. What’s your signature dish?
Our baby back ribs are a customer favorite. We have a special house-made dry rub, and we smoke the ribs with hickory wood. They are tender and delicious! Mac and Cheese is our most popular side. With that said, we've good good balance in all of our smoked meats and house-made sides.

We listen carefully to what our customers say, and customize the menu to suit each client and situation.
