Oh my gosh. Ordered take out. A Nuevo Latino Salad with chicken and steak fajitas. Got home, opened the bag to find a HUGE serving of chips and delicious salsa, just as if we were eating in the restaurant. The salad was also a generous size and delicious. Ok, Fajitas for lunch tomorrow (leftovers!!)The BEST!!!!Ok, it's noon the next day, we reheated the steak fajitas for lunch. They were also fantastic!! Steak was tender and perfectly seasoned.. A Yorba Linda staple! I've been going here for years and I recently went here with my boyfriend to sit down and have a nice lunch date again. The food was great as usual, and they changed their demonstration of the food and I loved it! I usually get the chicken and cheese enchiladas and they're absolutely delicious! So happy I finally tried this place, I've been wondering about it for years! This place did not disappoint and it was crowded inside. I didn't have to wait for a table. The chips and salsa were addicting and so good. I needed a refill on chips and asked for many salsas! I couldn't stop eating them. Also the food came out so fast, as soon as we ordered I think we only waited 5 minutes, if that!!!! I got the combination plate with chicken enchilada, beef and chicken taquitos, rice and beans!! This is my very favorite restaurant in the whole world. My dad started getting take out from Blue Agave after reading an article in the OC Register after they opened back when I was in elementary school. We'd sit on the floor of our living room and have a picnic. It was amazing and I'll always remember all of the new and exciting dishes I had never tried before as a little girl that were so good!Many years later, my dad had his wedding reception at Blue Agave! We've celebrated every occasion, and had the same waitress (Andrea) for probably 20 years. (Not sure if she's still there but this speaks to their quality as an employer!)I no longer live in the area, but there are many things about this restaurant I miss and it's our first stop when I come back into town. My husband and I opted for take out today for lunch. From begging to end it was a pleasant experience. They were quick to answer their phone, take my order, offered recommended items, and quoted an accurate time for pick up. Once I arrived, they quickly addressed my payment and brought out my food. The food quality was amazing, tasted great, and they included a generous portion of chips and their delicious salsa. We ordered for a pickup last night and it was 8 minutes past 7 and she said they stopped taking orders at 7. She talked to George and he said OK. We have lived in Yorba Linda for 33 years and have been coming here since they opened. What a great restaurant with wonderful food that hasn't changed any of their Quality or prices in all that time and you won't be able to find a person that works as hard as George. All of the staff has been great and we have not hard a bad experience in all the times we go there, which is at least 2 or 3 times a month. Oh, by the way, our food and Margaritas were wonderful. Blue Agave has adapted to the current changes in the food industry with seamless precision. I had the Sedona steak and it was phenomenal. Served on a bed of perfectly cooked red cabbage the skirt steak was cooked to perfection. They also serve to-go margaritas which were gassed as usual. Came here on a Sunday around 5:30 and we only had about a 10 minute wait. The restaurant has cute decor and our waiter was very attentive. I ordered the Texas combo (taquitos and Chile verde enchilada), the taquitos were delicious and I would order those again but I didn't really care for the enchilada. We also shared an order of sopapillas, which were very tasty but it's a large order (they do take home well, I brought them home for my husband). My reasoning for taking away a star was the close quarters and weird tasting enchilada. The tables are so close together in some areas. We've been coming to Blue Agave for many years and every food item we've ordered has been incredible, full of flavor and top notch quality! Every staff member has been friendly and accommodating. The low light ambiance is so relaxing and is a big reason why we choose to eat there time and time again.We've never had a bad experience in all the years of dining at this restaurant. I came her for the first time and I ordered the carne asada kabobs with the mango salsa and it was soo good. Great food and even better margaritas!We joined family here, who proudly stated that this is their favorite place. I'm a huge fan of Mexican food, so of course, I was all in from jump. Lots of parking and lots of seating options - large booths and round tables. Not many restaurants offer large round tables and you dont appreciate this until you are meeting family that you only see a couple times a year. This is a great feature!Service was efficient. She took orders quickly and accurately. She also didnt hover, which again, is not always appreciated until you are trying to catch up with people.Menu was untraditional, but very substantial. Fish taco plates, chicken dishes, salads; all clean and very fresh. Solid presentation and large portions. Blue Agave has excellent carnitas and guacamole. These are the items I order every time I return to the United States from Tokyo. The guacamole is freshly made at your table side and spiced to your liking with fresh avocados, cilantro, onions, jalapeños, tomatoes, oreganos, salt, garlic powder and one more spice which I can't remember. Eat with Blue Agave's chips or add to the carnitas. The carnitas are juicy and have some char to it, incredibly flavorful. Comes with corn or flour tortillas, retried beans, rice, tomatillo salsa and a different type of guacamole. This makes for a delicious and very filling meal. More...

Cute Tex Mex YL! We went on a Tuesday night and almost all tables were full. I had the blood orange margarita and the hibiscus berry margarita. The blood orange was a lot better - both were way too sweet though, I could not finish the berry one. I left with a headache, I'll have to try something different next time. Our food was great. I ordered the West Texas - 2 steak 2 chicken taquitos, chili verde enchilada, rice, beans, and corn (the best). I do wish the meal came out a little hotter, it did not seem as fresh. Had a nice lunch here with my Father-in-Law on Sunday. A family was having fajitas at the table closest to the door when we came in - the delicious aroma made up my mind on what I was ordering! Set up a bday brunch here with some friends. We went on Saturday afternoon. We had a good time. Cocktails are great, I got the spinach mushroom enchiladas which I didn' t care for but I did try the coconut shrimp was heavenly. Everyone else enjoyed their meals.
