Bloom Maven staff are all personable, helpful, and very knowledgeable! They always have the best on-trend plants in impeccable condition, adorable plant pots in myriad styles, and different florals and houseplants on the weekly. In addition, they create stunning one-of-a-kind bouquets and the most beautiful arrangements for special events and holidays. I cannot give enough praise for this local floral shop. My green thumb is a work in progress but just like other reviews, Bloom Maven continues to trigger my plant addiction. The shop, florals, plants and accessories are all so beautiful and bring out a soothing vibe. We recently ordered flowers for my husbands grandmother using their site and the entire experience was flawless. They have an easy and detailed site and our amazingly gorgeous flower arrangement was delivered on time and as ordered. They even had our note to nana beautifully handwritten for us. Bloom Maven was absolutely SUPERB in doing the photos for my wedding. They were not only stunning in their arrangements, but also in their freshness and full bloom beauty. Akiko nailed my vision for wedding florals and it was absolutely beautiful. Flower delivery was timely and everything was organized and assembled. I never want my bouquet to wilt! I feel so lucky to have Bloom Maven at the Mercado. They have a beautiful selection of flowers and other home items (candles, vases, home plants). I've ordered bouquets of flowers for my wife's anniversary and birthday this year and they were absolutely stunning. I love this store! It is so beautiful and the aesthetic is perfect. I expected the plants to be expensive, considering how high end the shop looks, but was pleasantly surprised to find that all of the plants are totally reasonable priced! From the moment you walk into the shop, your nose is filled with such a soft, delicate, scent that just sets up your whole experience at Bloom Maven. Everything is immaculate and intentionally curated but while still maintaining an organic feel like plant life around you. There are gorgeous plants like fiddle leafs, pothos, cacti, air plants and succulents or the main attraction which is the center table spilling over with fresh, gorgeous cut flowers. Even if you're not even in the market for plant life there are so many gifts from local artists inside for yourself or someone else. There are handmade pots, jewelry, candles, cards, incense and art. Definitely has the air of cool girl chic. Next time you're in the Mercado San Augustin area, absolutely stop by this shop. More...

Bloom Maven is tucked into the Agustin Mercado and it fits in perfectly. I gotta say, this is one of my absolute favorite places in Tucson now. Not only is it right next to some of my favorite restaurants but it's so unique.My favorite is the weekly bouquet. They put together a lovely bunch of flowers and greens once a week that you can stop by and purchase. They're always gorgeous and one of a kind and priced quite reasonably. I have only been by Bloom Maven once but plan on coming back regularly. The lady running the register was very helpful and friendly and showed me around the shop. Although the selection is small, every flower and plant is absolutely gorgeous. I would love to hire them for future events and plan on it. More...

I am, quite literally, addicted to plants. There's this cycle I have created for myself: I get a plant... and then I need a pot for said plant. .. but then I go to the store to get a pot and end up with another plant (which, in turn, needs a pot).While some might say this is a problem, I'm actually quite content to be in this place. And as a bonafide Plant Mama, Bloom Maven is my favorite place to build my plant family.There is an incredible selection of indoor plants, from the Instagram famous monstera and fiddle leaf figs to less popular (but no less amazing) staghorn ferns, pothos, prayer plants, zebra plants.... and many more.Bloom Maven also has a ton of great pots for all these plant babies. From simple white cylinders to locally made pots and decorative macrame hanging options.And it isn't just live-plants. Akiko, the bloom maven herself, also does incredible flower arrangements and bouquets. They're simple yet unexpected and always beautiful.There are also local wares from some of Tucson's greatest artisans -- like Sigfus earrings, candles from And So It Is Apothecary, cards and more. And Bloom Maven regularly hosts workshops and other events.Every time I walk into Bloom Maven, it's basically like asking them to take all my money. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I was extremely impressed with the artistic detail they put in to their arrangements. I came here last Sunday looking for a bouquet, after the other flower shops near by had poor selection or just weren't open. When I walked in, I was surprised that it wasn't your typical florist. There were a lot of dry bouquets and small arrangements, gift type items like candles, etc on the walls. Stems to chose from, and potted plants. I asked for a wrap bouquet and gave them my price point, they asked me to come back in 10 minutes. I walked around the market for a bit and contemplated whether or not the eclectic style of the florist would be able to create a more delicate, romantic bouquet than that I saw in their prearranged.  When I returned, I realized I clearly had no artistic vision as I would have never imagined creating such a beautiful romantic bouquet with the flowers they had on hand. I was so impressed. I will be contacting them to hopefully have another bouquet made for me this weekend and will forever go here for my floral needs. So happy I found this place, they truly are skilled at what they do. I highly recommend! More...

Bloom Maven is the newest addition to the Mercado San Agustin. I had been waiting for a flower shop to open at MSA for years now and Bloom Maven is beyond the perfect fit. Currently, Bloom Maven is in a temporary space, which was the Ak Bakery, and will be moving into the Transit Cycle shop in the near future. Akiko, the owner and floral artist is insanely talented and super sweet. She is not your average florist. She selects beautiful seasonal flowers and plants that you likely wouldn't find at other flower shops. Her selection is small but carefully and thoughtfully sources and curated. My first purchase was a wreath over the holidays. It was beautiful when it was fresh and dried out really nicely too. Recently I popped in to buy fresh flowers to use on a birthday cake. I ended up buying a mini bouquet for the cake topper and it worked out great! Akiko's work is whimsical and delicate. Akiko can do anything from arrangement for your home, business and special occasions. More...
