Bloom Line Flowers' arrangements are crafted with such attention to detail that even the powdered flower food is gussied up in a drawstring gift-pouch. What do you love most about your job?
Everything.....well, maybe not washing flower buckets! But seriously, flower design is an art form in which flowers are the medium. It never ceases to amaze me how beautiful even the simplest flowers can be. I love being able to work with natural materials in a way that makes the end result even more beautiful than all the individual parts. I also love all the mechanics that a floral designer has to work through in order to make whatever it is work. It is not magic, it is one of the most rewarding things I do. What more can I say, flowers are my happy place and I feel lucky to be around flowers and a garden almost every day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It was a mid-life decision. I always loved flowers but I went to business school and have been a business woman for over 30 years. But you come to a point in your life when you say to yourself, if I don't do it now I may never do it. I had an opportunity to open a shop drop in my lap a few years back and I took it and have not looked back. Although I have moved into a studio now, I still have not given up my day job and probably never will (this is a tough career path) but I have found a way to make it all work and get the best out of both worlds.
Why should our clients choose you?
As a studio florist, it is our policy to give top priority to the client who has reserved the day. What does this mean for you? Once you have reserved the date you will be our only wedding. It is our mission to provide you with the highest level of service. We will work closely with you to ensure that your vision becomes a reality.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All deliveries are made by a driver who wears a mask. If our clients want their flowers to be left outside until the driver leaves that is not a problem. We usually connect via text or phone and determine what is best for our customers.
Wedding and Event Floral Design
My staff and I are trained floral designers who strive to create innovative beautiful works of art with flowers. You may not know a lot about flowers but we do and can open your eyes to some of the beautiful luxe flowers available that will make your event stand out. We only accept one wedding per day so that our customers get our undivided attention to their wedding or event. After all it is not about us, it is about you. Diane

As a floral designer we not only focus on the flowers but on the whole picture not just the flowers. Whether you need flowers or not, as creatives, we provide consultation services to our clients to help them develop their vision/theme, what makes your wedding or event different? We can help you get there and bring that style to your wedding or event.
Sympathy Flowers
We provide traditional and personalized sympathy flowers for those who want to provide a tribute to someone who has passed. As trained designers we pride ourselves on being able to create something out of the ordinary for that person you love.
Sending Flowers locally
As a local studio florist we take phone orders for flower deliveries in the Northern Virginia area. We do not participate in wire service flowers, it is not our style.
All of our arrangements are made specific to your request and local flowers and sustainable methods are used whenever possible.
