My two experiences at blo have been great. I had the pleasure of being styled by James for a maternity photo shoot. He took great care to make my hair look perfect. My blow out stayed perfect the entire day and I didn't have any stray stragglers or Friz. I highly recommend this business for their consistency, kind service, quality products and great blow outs. Heidi was amazing! I booked an appointment online and left notes in the comments. Heidi was ready for me bright and early at 7am! She had a great knowledge of the products as well as the area. I was all done by 8:15am! I had never been to this location before so she explained what was included and what would be considered an extra or up-do. I am over the moon with how simple the process was, how well Heidi explained the hairstyle options and products used. She was very knowledgeable about the industry  and the local options. I originally scheduled a blow out for the day of an event but things got all out f schedule for me and I needed to reschedule. I called several times in advance of my appointment and no one ever answered, it was strange. After my appointment time last I got a phone call. I let them know I tried to call and they told me they had been busy. Kinda strange, but they ended up rescheduling my appointment.I went this last Saturday and they were not busy a all. Everyone was super nice and friendly. I noticed when I checked in there was an offer for a free add on of a head massage so I showed it to the person at the front desk and she didn't hesitate and said they would honor it. I enjoyed my shampoo and head massage, it was quite relaxing. My hair dresser was really sweet and helped me choose a style. The thing that is interested about the way they style hair is more around using a curling iron. I like when I get a blow out and they actually blow it out to have volume and then go back and add curls. But she didn't put much effort into the blow out itself, i was a little disappointed but the s curls were nice. My hair definitely looked better after I went home and gave it the appropriate volume. I've been coming here a couple times and I absolutely love it. It's a lovely salon, great stylist, and I enjoy the vibe when I'm there. Great prices. I've been to Blo before, but this was my first time at this location. The salon was very clean and about the same size as the other salons. I came in earlier than my appointment time, but they were able to see me right away. My stylist was great, she did everything I asked in terms of styling. She was also very fast. My blowout even last a day more than it usually does.This is a service I would use again if I had another groupon, but I'm not sure I would pay full price for it. More...

The entire experience was awesome!!!I attend the annual work gala with dread cuz i need to plan hair +makeup +dress +babysitting . ..weeks ahead. This year i was way ahead of the game and make all my appointments and arrangements. I called on Friday for the Sunday appointment. I was greeted by the make-up artist who i offered the drinks. Then Cristobal got to work on my hair. I usually do not give alot of instructions to stylist cuz i am pretty easy going. But i swear he read my mind. I described him the type of outfit i have for the party, and he made it work.   Again, i gave minimal instant to my makeup artist, and she made sure everything came together. I don't travel with hair supplies. I book blowouts. And Blo Blow knows how to give a great blowout. My opinions were further affirmed by my last trip when I received multiple catcalls every time I walked to my hotel from the salon with my fresh bouncy hair. My favorite was the "Oooooh sh*t" I was given. Thank you, Blo Blow. Seriously. I've been here 4 times now and every appointment has been on time. They offered both a drink and a friendly welcome. My only small complaint is that the business is a bit threadbare. It's time they did a makeover on themselves. Oh, and the AC running when it's 32 degrees outside? No bueno. Just moved to Uptown and I'm so happy I found this place! Becca who did my hair was super nice and fun to chat with. I asked for big holiday waves and she delivered! They use a ton of WOW products which are super high end so I was super impressed but this was definitely the best blow out I've gotten in a long time. I'm on day 3 and it's still looks fresh and has volume. And let me tell you, I'm shocked. I went out all weekend and partied etc but this hair has survived. Thank you!! My first experience with Blo Addison Walk wasn't a great example for their customer service. I let the staff know about my experience and how I didn't enjoy it. Tiffany is amazing! I made 3 consecutive days of appointments for wedding festivity stuff over the weekend & everyone did such a good job. Each stylist had a little different take on the "va-va-voom" look I was going for, but all equally beautiful. I suffer from alopecia areata due to an auto immune disorder and they still made my hair look full & sexy. I also cannot speak praises enough for the manager, Maria, who did my makeup Sunday. There was a bit of miscommunication on the look I was going for & expressed this to her via email and she made it 150% right. She came in & did my makeup herself on Sunday and I think the pictures speak for themselves. I got so many compliments!
