I badly burned my dominant hand and have unruly curly hair that I straighten. I was afraid I'd hurt myself trying to wash/dry/straighten my own hair, so I found this place with online appointment scheduling, awesome. Parking kind of sucks, but that isn't their fault. Loved my experience here! The ladies handled my appointment with friendliness and professionalism. Was offered a complimentary drink, introduced to my stylist, and directed immediately to a chair. I just had knee surgery and it is very difficult for me to stand in the shower to wash my hair, let alone gather enough energy to style it afterwards.  A friend suggested I go to Blo for a blowout. Had my hair curled and styled here with some friends. Their service was exquisite! I asked for tips on curling my own hair while at home and they were happy to help so I can *attempt* to keep my hair great when I don't have them styling it for me. We went out to dinner and had loads of compliments on our curls. All a little bit different of a style. Inside the salon is very cute. I usually go to Dry Bar for blowouts but I decided to come here since it's closer to home. My stylist was very nice and we made pleasant small talk. Just got my hair colored and I was worried their shampoo wasn't color safe but it definitely is! I chose the pillow talk style which are beach waves. She did them with a straightener and I was very impressed! I wanted more volume on top and she happily obliged. She teased it a little and added some volumizing powder on top. I couldn't believe it lasted the whole day! Better yet my blow out lasted 3 days... way longer than dry bar. My waves still held their shape... I'm not a girly-girly. I kinda dread doing my hair and makeup. We had fall family photos approaching and I decided to just let a pro do my hair and make me look decent instead of ME stressing over it. I had so much fun here. More fun than I ever anticipated. The environment on Sunday was relaxed and spacious. My stylist was sweet and we had an engaging conversation (and I'm usually not much of a talker). Great experience. Every time I come to this salon I always walk out happy with beautiful bouncy hair. Even when I get a different girl every time. The last girl who styled me gave me a beautiful blowout. Just wished the waiting area would have more seating area. Enough seating for only two maybe three people. Three of us were standing up in the tiny middle of the waiting area trying to avoid getting bumped by the clients coming in and the overall bustle and hustle of the salon. I received a call from Sara (store manager). She apologized and gave me the special promotion price (yay!). She stated they don't typically close early on Sundays but weekends are mostly by appointment only. I could tell Sara truly cares about providing excellent customer service and keeping clients happy. Due to an important meeting Monday afternoon, I decided I needed to get a blowout done. Blo is the closest blow-dry bar to me. I was excited to hear that they had an open schedule and could get me in last minute before my meeting, but that's not even the best part; on Mon & Tue the $40 service is only $30!The salon is easy to find with a pink awning and I had no trouble finding parking around lunch time. I loved the inside. It was clean, bright with a lot of white! Maria introduced herself and greeted me with a warm hello as soon as I walked in. She explained the process to me and led me to Mallonee's chair. Mallonee introduced herself. I let Mallonee know that I didn't have a particular look in mind, I just wanted it to look good! She took me over to the hair washing station and waited for the temperature to be just right. Typically, I'm tenderheaded when it comes to the washing and conditioning, but Mallonee did not pull my hair at all!  She took me back to her station and Maria offered me a glass of water. Then began the blowdry process. Mallonee took her time with this piece, which I appreciate. My hair was so soft afterwards! She began curling my hair, but she was careful not to use too much product.I loved the result and loved that my hair was not crunchy, yet stayed in place. After my meeting, I went for a 4mi run and I did not have any trouble putting my hair up (too much hairspray can make it a pain!) The waves stayed in my ponytail, even after my run! I was lucky enough that theirtrainer/specialist was there that day and helped the stylist with my hair.
