I've given up on massages for about a year because they always leave me feeling kind of disappointed, like they're just ok. .not great, just ok. I decided to try this place out though because it's right next to 24 Hour Fitness (convenient), and I figured since it's been so long since my last massage session..even a disappointing one would still do me good. I went with the 45 mins full body, deep tissue massage, and oh my GOD, it was the BEST massage I've ever received! This was no joke some real DEEP TISSUE massage. Bill kept a very firm, even, and steady pressure the whole time - REALLY, TRULY working through my knots and giving extra attention to the areas that were particularly problematic. He'd be working on my right trapezius and I'd feel that traveling through my nerve down my spine and to the middle of my right ass cheek LOL And the hot stones - amazing. Also, he was periodically checking on me to make sure I was doing ok - I think he was concerned he might be crushing me because my knots were popping/crackling so loudly - but he stopped asking me after seeing I was all about that life. So happy I found my new massage joint. More...

So I got a Groupon for a basic facial and they ladies there were great. I did wait for a little bit but  thought the facial treatment itself was good, they use quality products and explained what they were doing the whole time. I did sign up for a follow on facial and that was great as well. Be aware that you will probably wait 10-15 minutes over your appointment time and it is not really a spa setting. I also felt when I was paying it was a bit on the salesy side, trying to get me to buy more. I think the products are high quality as my skin felt and looked great after both facials. More...

I have been to different Chinese Foot Massages at Bellevue many times. Most of them are hit and miss.

I noticed this place long ago because I go to the gym weekly right next door. Trying them for the 1st time today.

Lily was warm and friendly, her Massage skill was above average. Much better than some guys with rough hands that felt like sand-paper.

They played some old fashioned Chinese music, some of them are mix of high pitched 二胡曲 which it's hard to relax listening to them. Would be better if they play some simple soft spa music which is what most people like.

Also the restroom is near by, once a while someone will slam the door while the whole place was nice and quiet. Maybe they can put a sign up and ask people close the door quietly (common sense)!

I came here because I purchased a Groupon, and I wanted lashes for my honeymoon, in which I am leaving for tomorrow! I bought the synthetic lashes deal for $43 (Groupon has 20% off deals all the time! ), but then when I arrived, the lady said that she recommends paying $30 extra for the mink lashes. The last couple times I've gotten lashes, they always got itchy, and of course, I couldn't rub much cause I didn't want them to fall out. So I opted for the $30 upgrade, hoping that it would lessen the itchyness. Application wise, it took about 1.5 hours, and the soothing music in the background made me fall asleep. They rested my head on a couple towels, so it wasn't really comfortable, but oh well. At the end, the lady said that since I was going on my honeymoon, she gave me more lashes. Typical full sets are about 70-80 lashes, but she said she gave me about 100-110 per eye! I was so shocked! As I was paying out, she realized that her coworker, who already left, closed their credit card system, so she could only take cash. I only had $28, but she said it was fine, and that it it was my honeymoon gift! I couldn't even tip her cause I didn't have any more cash!In terms of quality, this is my first time with mink lashes, so I can't really tell. They do feel a bit plastic-y, but I think lashes need to have some structure to them to stay in shape. Glue wise, when I'm sleeping, my eyes do get a bit irritated when the lashes touch my pillow. It's kindof like a sting? This happens when the lashes are touching something .. so it isn't the best while sleeping, but from past experience, I know that lashes are inconvenient, but pretty haha. You gotta make sacrifices :) More...

I've been going here to get my lash extensions since November 2014. I first tried it out for my sisters wedding, I was her maid of honor and I didn't want my mascara to run if I was going to cry. My experience here every time since then has been absolutely phenomenal! I get them done by Jenny every two weeks and she is just the most polite and sweet woman. The room is really relaxing, I've fallen asleep a couple of times during the application. She plays soothing spa music in the background and is very gentle and patient. The table you lay on is pretty comfy, they put a pillow under your head and knees to make it most comfortable and they have a hot pad under your back. The first time application takes an hour and a half to two hours, and then fills every two weeks take about 45 minutes to and hour depending how many of your natural lashes have fallen out. Sometimes your lashes are very oily, just like the hair on your head and the glue does not stick very well. She will make it right for you! It's only happened to me once; out of the countless times I've been here... But as soon as I called Jenny and told her she got me in as soon as possible and cleaned and re applied some extra lashes for me free of charge! Talk about great customer service!I get compliments all the time about my lashes at work and I send them all here. Jenny is very flexible and understanding with scheduling as well. I'll never go anywhere else. I've heard terrible things about Lash Noir in Bellevue or other lash places about application, being poked and prodded and their prices are out of control. Jenny has wonderful pricing especially for the high quality product your getting. I look forward to every fill I get. I strongly suggest you go here for your next lash application. I have been to about 5 Reflexology Centers in the Pacific Northwest and this is hands down the best. For an hour foot/body massage it runs $32. I prefer this type of massage verses the traditional massage you would find at other places. I'd tell you my favorite masseuse, but then he would be booked all the time! I rave about this place all the time to my co-workers. I don't even want to confess how many times I have been to this location. As a nurse, I deserve some pampering!Tips- Wear pants you can roll up and be comfy in. Don't bother with make-up as they sometimes massage your face. Tell them if it is too hard or too soft, they don't want to hurt you; especially if they forget to ask you! Make an appointment if your time is limited. Please tip more than $5. I got a Reflexology massage this week and it was the best massage I had ever gotten. I called the same day to see if they have any availabilities and fortunately they were able to accommodate me. I read from other Yelp reviews that Mandy was good so I booked with her.Don't be confused with the Bliss Spa makeup/skin care/eyelashes because they're not the same place anymore. Although they are right next to one another. This is not your typical massage place where everyone is put in a private room (although they have that option but it will cost slightly more). My massage was out in the open but it's very dim and they put a towel over your eyes. Other clients will be right next to you. Here are some things to keep in mind:1) ladies, please do not wear makeup because they will be massaging your face and scalp.2) once you get in, you'll have your feet submerged in a bucket of warm water (maybe they only do this with reflexology).3) wear sandals or flip flop.4) shower before going so you aren't all sweaty and gross.5) it was a deep tissue massage so be prepared to get beaten up (in a good way, lol). he/she will confirm whether or not the pressure is too much.6) reflexology was a full body massage so if you are not comfortable being touched in certain areas like your glutes, be sure to book with someone as your gender.7) you will be fully clothed so wear something comfortable like workout clothes.8) hydrate afterwards so you won't be too sore.I left the biggest tip ever because she was so good at what she does. Also, it's tough enough for myself to massage my calves for just a minute so I could only imagine how tiring it is for her to do a full hour massage.I will be back! More...

After an intense hike a couple weekends ago, a massage was absolutely necessary.  I was looking for a place that didn't break the bank and found this gem on the Eastside in an Issaquah strip mall. The experience was a little bit different than I was expecting, but great the nonetheless and I can't wait to go back.  Don't expect to have a private room as you will be put in a large room with other clients in close proximity.  The massage is done over a towel/blanket draped over your clothes, so make sure to wear something comfortable.  I learned my lesson and next time will not be wearing skinny jeans... After being greeted by the friendly receptionist, I was led back into the large open room that had 6 fully reclined chairs.  There was some light music playing the dark room and plenty of hooks for your items during the massage.  There was a big emphasis on neck, arms/shoulders and feet, but it was great as those were my tightest areas.  My masseuse really cared and wanted to make sure I was comfortable and enjoyed my time there.  They offer a great service and at an afforable $29 (full price!) for an hour, they make getting a massage much more accessible than I thought it would ever be. I went in to Bliss a few weeks ago armed with a Groupon voucher for synthetic eyelash extensions.  During my search for a good salon (eyelash extensions require fill-ins every 2-3 weeks and I wanted to find a place that I can count on and go to for a long time), I saw many Groupon vouchers for lashes come and go, but I decided to go with Bliss b/c they were rated so well on Yelp (4 1/2 stars).  From the greeting by the receptionist to the service I received, these ladies provide top notch customer service.  Jenny was my aesthetician and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to get their lashes beautified! First she sat with me and we discussed what style of lashes I would like and what she recommended for my eye shape.  After deciding to go with lashes that are the longest at the outside corner, I laid down underneath Jenny's magnifying glasses and headlight.  Ladies, she has the gentlest touch!! Our 1 1/2 hour session was so soothing and comfortable that I started to doze off  X-)  Jenny is one of those wonderful aestheticians that is detailed oriented enough to take the time to make sure every single lash is taken care of while at the same time has this gentle, kind personality that really makes you feel taken care of.  If you're the kind of person that is iffy about having people near your eyes, I would go to Jenny 10 times out of 10.  It's not easy to fall asleep with someone touching your eyes but she has a featherlight touch and I woke up with gorgeous lashes. That night I went home and stared at my new lashes in my magnified vanity - she did not leave any of my lashes undone.  I'm Asian, so I started with very short, straight lashes but after my session at Bliss, they were full, long, curved beautifully, and natural looking. And that's not all - despite the fact that Jenny has such a light touch, my lashes have also held up in the middle of Washington summer.   Good synthetic lash care requires that you do not expose your new flirty eyes to steam or hot water for 24-48 hours so I simply relied on my dry shampoo the next day.  It's been 3 weeks since my appointment and I'm really impressed at how my lashes held up!  In that time in addition to my daily showers I also went swimming a few times.  I've definitely lost lashes due to their natural shedding cycle but I'm happy to say that my lashes still look great and not patchy at all.  I have my next fill-in appointment today and I can't wait!! I'm excited to keep these lashes, and I may also try Bliss Spa's  facials - I hear they're great as well. More...

This place is great - you simply CANNOT beat the price for what you get!  For $29 ($25 with coupon) you get a great 60 minute massage.  The head massage is wonderful as is the foot massage.  They really work out the kinks in your back as well!  They can get a little rough, but like folks have previously mentioned, just ask them to ease up a bit.  No big deal. Now - don't go in expecting your own room - you're in a chair right next to another person and the noise from the lobby carries.  When I was there some lady was blabbing on an on about her dog's bathroom issues.  Not exactly what I want to hear when I am getting a massage, but none the less - not the fault of the salon.  I feel like someone may have asked her to quiet down (couldn't see as my eyes were covered with a towel) as she eventually left.I try to go once a week and you should too!Oh - just a heads up.  There are two entrances - the one on the left is for the facials / eyelash extension / etc.  Make sure to go to the one on the right! I visited Bliss Spa on June 17, 2013 via a friend's recommendation for an hour long reflexology massage. I must say, Bliss has earned my repeat business because I will definitely be back. For $29, I can't help but walk away with the feeling that I had robbed their business because it is such a STEAL! Wow, $29!! I can now afford to get massages without breaking the bank!!  The massage that I received by Mandy was great! I've always been the kind to go for deep tissue massages and I am so pleased with how well she was able to work out all my knots and free me from all the toxins in my body. My favorite was the head/scalp and the back massage part. You WILL get sore depending on the level of pressure received but if you're like me, you'll enjoy it because it'll rid you of your problem spots. The spa is clean, relaxing and inviting. Very accommodating as I called at 5:00pm for a 5:30pm appointment with a female therapist. I am glad I read a few reviews on Yelp prior to my visit because it really helped! What to Expect: 1. It is not your typical spa where you're getting a delicate, Swedish massage nor are you in a private room2. There is no fancy shmancy pampering1. Massage will be done in a spa chair that is fully reclined 2. Massage will be done in a dimly lit, quiet room with soothing spa music with other clients receiving massages, too3. Your eyes and body will be covered with a towel  4. Massage therapist WILL use lots of heavy pressure - although I had no complaints with Mandy's pressure, do speak up if you are uncomfortable 5. Massage therapist MAY rub your entire back side, buttocks and all - read TIP #5 belowTips: 1. If you check in with Yelp, the1 hour full body reflexology massage is $25! 2. Wear loose and comfy clothes. Make sure your pants and shirt sleeves can be rolled up because your feet will be soaked and massage will be done with your clothes on. 3. Wear flip flops or sandals if you can 4. Ladies, if you have long hair, make sure you have a hair tie because when you leave - your hair will be a mess and we do not want to look crazy5. For the ladies, the therapist may massage/apply pressure to your buttocks area. You may want to request a female masseuse if you are sensitive about it or tell them not to do it altogether 6. I've been told told male therapists are much rougher than female therapists 6. Last but not least, do tip well. They suggest you leave a minimum of $5 but c'mon - they're workin' hard for a full hour and the massage is only $29. Be generous. Overall, a great place that I would  highly recommend to my friends who aren't afraid of a little pressure and "tough massages." I am already looking forward to my next visit! I will consider coming in for a "Korean Facial" one of these days, too. More...
