I had a Groupon and went to blink, excited to get lash extensions. No fault of theirs but I had a minor allergic reaction to some adhesive. Tiffany was excellent about stopping immediately and making sure it didn’t get bad (it didn’t - we caught it early!). Clarice microbladed my eye brows then did a powder fill. I actually started out with a thin line of brows she has transformed into shaped thick beautiful brows. I need 1 more fill because of my chicken pox scars (still can’t believe she worked around this) but let’s be real, they’re legit so perfect I’m in no rush. No one has ever guessed these weren’t my real brows. That’s why Blinks Work is unmatched. Eye brows design is something Clarice views and treats as an art. She is straight forward and kind. Vanessa at Blink Salon does such amazing work. I had my eyebrows microbladed by someone at a house party. They didn't look right and the person gave me no aftercare instructions. When I went to see Vanessa she explained everything to me from start to finish when I went for my first appointment. I could not be happier with my results. Clarice is the queen of brows!!! I've had my brows tattooed years ago and it was extremely painful so I was a wreck but Clarice used some super powerful numbing cream that actually worked ! !! More importantly she took the time to explain everything she was doing and is a true artist and perfectionist !!! Where do I start...I had a very bad experience getting my eyebrows tattooed in the past, with a well known artist in the north shore area. I had to live with the bad work for years. I was very self conscious and it took me so much time in the morning using makeup to cover up and try to make my brows look somewhat descent, when that is the exact opposite of what I wanted..I got them tattooed in the first place so I wouldn't have to worry about drawing them daily... what I was left with is uneven eyebrows that quickly faded to a blue gray color. So after searching for help...I find Blink on Facebook and I start emailing with Clarice, the amazing owner. I have questions and concerns..especially since I had a very bad experience in the past. She is very patient with me and understands how upset I am and how big of a deal this is to me. Long story..short, I go to see Clarice and she helps me..after two appointments I have eyebrows that I am happy with!!!!! So happy with, I can't tell you how much more confident I feel. I actually got emotional after my last appointment and began crying out of happiness and I was just so thankful to clarice. She really is amazing at what she does. Her patience, knowledge, attention to detail and unbelievable talent make her the very best!  I appreciate her determination to get the color correct and to make sure my existing work and my new work matched in color when healed. She was so positive through the whole experience and truly cared about how I felt. My situation was not typical since I had previous work..I had a few different issues going on... 1.uneven brows 2.grey/blue color 3.Too thinIt was quite a challenge but clarice was willing to help me and I'm so glad she did. I had a first appt where she did a color correction and then once that was healed I had a second appt to correct the shape. I will be going back for one touchup. Like I said because of my awful previous work I had to have more appts than someone else normally would have. I am so unbelievably happy with my brows. It's so nice to not have to worry about drawing them in and being stressed about going swimming, etc. I have brows that will stay in place and I couldn't be happier!  Thank you clarice!!! Discovered Blink Salon and Spa online and when viewing their reviews on yelp, I knew that they would be the best location to visit. Had my brows micro-bladed by Clarice on Saturday and couldn't be happier! She took the time to go over every concern I had and explained in perfect detail how the procedure would go, the minor pain associated with it, and the recovery process. This was my first tattooing experience (so I was a tad nervous) but I can honestly say the pain was manageable and completely gone when she put on the numbing gel. I'm coming back in for a follow-up appointment in late May but as ofright now, 4 days since my initial appointment, my brows are healing quite nicely and I'm loving them! Clarice is an obvious master of her skill and it shows! We had a lovely conversation about her background and how she got into the field which made me feel even more at ease and comfortable. I had my eyebrows done in the powder brow style by Clarice on Tuesday after having a number of exchanges of questions and answers with her over email about the different styles of brows she does and the colour choices. When I got there she spent some time discussing with me the look I was going for and what the end resulting shape and colour would be and marked and remarked with the pencil over and over again until the shape was just right before she began tattooing. (Numbing cream had been put on some time prior while I was filling in paperwork on arrival). Clarice was very thorough in making sure to get every bit covered, leaving no visible blank spaces and the pain was much more tolerable than some things I have had done to me over the years! They looked great when she was finished and she gave me some cream too put on over the next week and an instruction sheet to follow and I made my follow up appointment for June where she will fill in any missing bits or correct shape changes. I first got my eyebrows powder filled by Clarice at the Massachusetts tattoo convention. I reached out to her the day before and she was so prompt and thorough at answering all my questions and concerns. My husband is a tattoo artist so I'm very familiar with tattoos but I was surprised to learn how the healing process is so different with pigment done on the face! After your initial appointment you go in for a touch up 6-10 weeks later. At my touch up we perfected the shape and added fullness to the spots where we both felt needed it. I originally planned on doing the microblading but Clarice talked me into the powder filled brows because she felt I would like them much better since I normally do a more dramatic brow with my makeup. That was huge for me in terms of her character because even though the microblading is more expensive and she would've made more off of that service, she cared more about what I would like personally. I recently had my brows micro-bladed and I couldn't be happier. Clarice is truly an artist. Her attention to detail is incredible. She took the time to accurately measure and design my brows. I found this place with a groupon for lash extensions, had a great experience with Melissa, she was very nice, caring, took time to explain things to me, did not rush anything.  And I got tons of compliments on my lashes, tons.  I went back again, and same great experience.  It was relaxing too I would fall asleep.  I went another time and had Clarice who I think is the owner, she was also very good at what she does.  The only thing is that there were a few times where she said something to me which put blame on me about something, one comment was about how my lashes were when I arrived, a complaint about that...another negative comment during the treatment, and after treatment too, that it was my fault (that my eyes were twitching when closed?) and that that made her not make something right.  It didn't feel good to leave on that note... 3 Weeks ago I came in for an eyelash extension with a groupon....Made the appointment on line, then followed up with a phone call  as I was unsure what to expect(how long visit, is parking available etc).  Spa is in an office building/Parking was in the back.  Girl was nice...I was happy with my lashes....Since then I have tried to make another apt for a fill.  Not having much luck...System is not user friendly...Tried last Friday but no appts available...Called salon to verify, to see if I could be squeezed in on Saturday, but no answer.  Voice mail states they only chk machine on certain days....I was hoping to stick with this salon, but it seems a lot of work to get it in there...Was hoping to have a fill in by Easter.. I had the pleasure of getting eyelash extension removal and a fresh full, volume set with Krystyna yesterday at Blink salon and spa. I had booked my appointment with their online system. Krystyna was very knowledgeable and friendly.  The spa is under renovation, expansion, which did not interfere with my relaxing appointment. Krystyna removed the last of my lashes abd dud a fresh full volume set. She was so friendly and has flawless skin. I paid extra and got the collagen eyepada versus getting just tape under my eyes. After the 2 hours you can totally see the difference, it's worth the $10 upgrade. I was very relaxed and even fell asleep a few times.  I'm very talkative so krystyna was still professional,  friendly and meticulous. I asked about my skin,  and as a licensed professional she made recommendations. I'm going back this Friday for a facial with microdermabrasion. I will report back.I am In love with my lashes,  they are so soft and full.  The collage eyepada really helped give me a fresh look. There is plenty of parking in the back I'm addition to a garage. It in an office suite I pass by more than 3 times a day and 5 minutes from my home.  I'm so glad I found this gem! ! More...

Update: owner contacted me immediately after I emailed her with concern and offered to touch up next day. I was really impressed by this and happy obliged. She went on to explain that some people require different adhesives for their lashes. She spent over an hour touching up and explaining and the results are incredible. I just say I am very happy with how she handled a dis satisfied client. I made a follow up fill and will be back. She also gave me an eyelash sealer to apply to add to the longevity of the lashes free of charge. So happy with the final outcome of the situation. More...

I found Clarice through a groupon several months ago when I first became interested in doing eyelash extensions for my wedding. My future sister in law and I bought the groupons well in advance of the wedding so we could test out what getting lash extensions is all about. Let me tell you something right off the bat- after you get lash extensions, you'll feel naked without them! It's incredible how natural, but awesome lash extensions look. We were so happy with our first visit that we'd knew we'd be back before the wedding to do it again. During that time another groupon for lash extensions came out (it seems like a lot are coming out these days) at a different salon in Needham, so we grabbed it- thinking lash extensions were similar across the board. Let me tell you that it is not true at all. We were so disappointed with the other salon- we didn't realize that not all salon's put a lash on every single lash you have on your eyelid!! Additionally, this other salon put on the longest length lash on me and it looked ridiculous. I was scarred and knew I'd never go to anyone besides Clarice. Needless to say, I went back to her 1 week before my wedding and my lashes came out incredible. I really was speechless. I received so many compliments- and still do! After 7 weeks, there are still some left, and they still look perfect. I was also so pleased with how the lashes turned out in my wedding pictures- I really don't like the look of fake strip lashes- you can always see where the glue is. So getting eyelash extensions are really a must before your wedding in my eyes- and I'd recommend not going anywhere else besides Clarice. I have been coming to blink ! Salon and spa since it opened. I've also been a client of Clarice for years. The salon is luxurious, modern, relaxing, as well as has a true spa feeling. The music lets me melt into my own relaxed mind and regardless of what I'm getting done (waxed, facial, lash extensions Ive had it all done) I always leave beautiful and feeling pampered. I wouldn't go anywhere else now that I found this hidden gem. The prices and frequent small business deals are so affordable I always find a service worth booking!
